LA fans need to step up... no excuses... this is a playoff game for gosh sakes.
This thread has me going....There about 19 million estimated in the LA Metro, and if my hometown can't fill a freakin 75,000 stadium for the MOST important NFL game since 1989 (Rams), I am embarrassed.

I would have flown out for the game if it was on Sunday. I have a big function already set for Saturday.

I can't wait to get out there for a Home playoff game. I'm crossing my fingers that I get to come out in the next few weeks because of an upset or 2.

I just looked at the Lakers and the Kings schedule and the Kings are the only other LA pro sports team playing Saturday night (Didn't look at the Ducks and the Clippers schedule, cuz they don't count:sneak:).

The Chargers are not in it.

There is no legitimate reason for the Rams not to pack out the LA Coliseum at 75K...or 90K..WITH people WAITING outside hoping for a chance at scalped tix!

Every game this year had the tickets on sale for months. These have been on sale for days. Patience grasshoppa.

Well that doesn't bode well at all if tickets were on sale for months and didn't sell.

This is an interesting article........talking about how the Stub Hub Center was 3/4 Raiders fans. Wow.

I know, well at least it's my opinion, that the NFL didn't want the Raiders back in LA.

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-chargers-raiders-plaschke-20171231-story.html

The last line says But, for now, the Fight for L.A. has been won by a Raiders team that isn’t even here, but never really left.

I just looked at ticketmaster, official tickets not re-sale, and they're really aren't many seats left. It's the re-sale tix I'm seeing tons of. So at the end of the day...If it means only the re-sale seats will be empty, hopefully we will still be pretty full!

I don't know what I'm looking at on StubHub but, looks like a lot of seats for sale.

So what does this mean?

Are the Rams fan selling their tickets?

They are not cheap

How many do you think show up and what percent will be Rams fans?

Got a new little one at home, so no game for me :(

Excuses aside....tickets are the cheap part. Concessions and parking kill it for the average fan.

Sounds like scalpers bought the tix thinking they will make a killing...

I'm flying down Friday night so I'll be there. Surrounded by opposing team fans like I have been all season. Quite frankly, the LA "fan base" sucks!
I am pretty sure there are more Rams fans outside of the LA area than in the LA area.

I think a deep playoff run will change that real soon. LA fans are nothing if not practical.

Usually about this time 5 days prior to the game most prime sections on both sides have anywhere from 20 to 0 tickets left in them. Right now on the home side most sections have 60+ left in most sections and 80-100+ on the visitors side per section.

I sure hope it's not indicative of an empty stadium come Saturday night. ...

Just to let you know, I sold my tickets at 130%. They NEVER sell within an hour of my posting them. Place will be jumping.

Given Falcons don't travel well, this should be a decent amount of mayhem from a ton of crazy yahoos.

Man, I wish I had faith in a home playoff game and would have planned an LA trip for this one!

GO RAMS!

We've made every game this season, including the preseason. So I spend a LOT of time on stubhub gauging ticket prices and availability. I buy our tickets for each game their, usually between the 40yd lines home side. While 3 of my co-workers use my 6 season tix.

I sure hope it's not indicative of an empty stadium come Saturday night. I'm so sick and tired of hearing about it from the rest of the nation, friends on social media. I understand parts of the issue, such as the crappy coliseum. We all also know about the other factors such as "Transplants" and "Vast entertainment" options. At the end of the day though, a primetime playoff game, we have to show up!

Hopefully it will be packed, and my calculations method is skewed. Either way, we will be there in full force! 20+ for the tailgate and game!

There also remains a league wide and not insignificant number of fans refusing to go because of player protests during the anthem ..

There is no reason for people not to show up to a playoff game. However, in fairness to the fans, look what they had to put up with last year. The Rams were the most boring team in the NFL. Only the most die-hard Ram fans (like us) would have paid to go see this team at the beginning of this season. This year's team will help Stan sell a lot of those overpriced PSL's next year though, and you will see less tickets for sale on the secondary market.

Non Issue, last year they came in droves and next year they will too....Takes time, but soon with the new Venue McVay and the Rams will be the hottest ticket in tinsel town and even our own @LesBaker will be in attendance at ringside.

Based on what I've seen at the Coliseum on game days I'd have to agree. The LA area seems to have fans of every team except the Rams. Well, at least fans that'll buy tickets AND show up for the game.
