LA Dodgers / San Diego Padres
Gm#1 Yamamoto vs Cease
Gm#2 Flaherty vs Darvish

Yankees / Kansas City Royals
Gm#1 Cole vs Wacha
Gm#2 Rodon vs Ragans

The other two series are holding their cards close to their vest.
Wheeler is starting game 1 for Philly but vs whom?
Bibee is starting for Cleveland vs undecided.
Consequently the Phillies and Guardians are not releasing their game two starters.

Speaking of pitching matchups, I find it amazing that John Smoltz pitched in the two most impressively pitched games by both teams but the Braves lost 1-0 in each. In 1991 he went 7 and third shutout innings but the Braves lost game 7 to Jack Morris in 10 innings and in 1996 he went 8 innings, gave up 1 unearned run and lost to Andy Pettitte. What bad luck. I hear he's a better golfer than both of them though!

Neither Yamamoto nor Cease did great yesterday, but the Dodgers bullpen and bats pulled us through.

We need Flaherty to eat some innings tonight and keep this bullpen fresh.
