Grob was a disaster yesterday....off balance all day, lunging and missing, flailing around, falling down....and of course two penalties that took away first and scoring positions for the Rams after two great plays from Keenum. The guy actively removed points from the score board yesterday. Major step back. Tampa he was not great, yesterday he was terrible. Not sure what the Rams can do about it but he simply needs to play better.
Quick 1 drop and 2 TDs.
Keenum played very well.
Grob was the Big Liability.
D was physical and made plays.
D backfield looks much better with Gaines back.

Finding a pass rusher from the edge in a 4-3 is difficult. There are some candidate's like OLB Josh Forrest who is more of a gap shooter than an edge Blitzer. Safety Mo Alexander is the best DB we have that can get to the QB. Easley has spent a lot of time @ DE in college & might be the best reserve DL'er who could spell Quinn more often if need be with Eugene Sims taking Easley reserve interior spot rotation.

Snead does have a few DE prospects in newby Lynden Trail & Rookie Morgan Fox to develop......
I saw Easley disrupt the middle of the oline yesterday. It could be why were seeing Donald play some end.

On O, this looks about right. Kendricks, Britt, Quick, and I would also say Austin have been consistent performers so far this year.

Austin isn't reaching his potential. They need to go back to some of the plays that worked with him and get him involved in the run game. CK is also missing him on passes for some reason and he has way too many drops.

We neutralized that Cardinals passing attack that everyone is so enamored with.

I can't agree with that at all. We made plays when we had to a few times, but they generally went up and down the field on us. I expect them to do the "bend but don't break" thing, but we're 24th in redzone defense so that's not good.

TruJo was credited with 6 pass deflections and an Int on Sunday.
Yeah but Jenkins gets a pick 6 a time or two a year.:wow:

That is actually an amazing statistic! Add to that that he was a "heel" away from a 2nd interception. (No doubt this counted as one of the pass deflections?)

He should be considered for player of the week.

Austin has the worst hands of the Ram WR.
Just not this year but over his time with the team. He has a very high drop rate, probably because his hands are small.
But, he is electric after he gets the ball, so, it is worth the drops.

Rams’ OL dreadful in both phases of the game

It didn’t matter whether the Rams were passing or running — the offensive line, in particular the offensive tackles, couldn’t hold their ground for many of the plays. LT Greg Robinson was especially poor with a game grade of 30.0 as he allowed a sack, three hurries, flagged twice, and allowed multiple tackles in the run game. RT Rob Havenstein (37.2) and RG Cody Wichmann (40.3) didn’t fare much better as they both struggled to block anyone.
