I do believe Aqib has just re-gained a freshly rededicated understudy. NFC Championship game, anyone?

Peters: “...I like what he was saying on the sidelines too...”

Wouldn’t put it passed Payton to be talking shit to players on the sideline...especially the emotionally unstable ones...to aggravate them more and get in their heads.

Regardless, to speak about opponents the way he does is anything but respectful.

I’m telling you, that organization, with him at the helm, is perhaps the most classless in the league.

Fucking clown.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I like this. Our team was pretty vanilla even at 8-0. Hopefully that loss lit a fire under their ass.

I like this rivalry with our old divisional team.
Maybe Peters should be more professional about it, but he is obviously worked up by his performance in that game.

I hope he has his head on straight for the Seahawks.

Regarding Peyton - I used to like him thinking he did a good job of building a solid, competitive team and winning a Super Bowl for the previously lowly Saints. I have come to the conclusion he has a bit of a dark side and being the sore loser that I am (Saints beating the Rams) - I am going to pay more attention to see if he is more of an arschloch than I realized!!

Regarding Peters - keep your head up and bring it!!

We won't be meeting the Saints again unless it's the playoffs. Peters won't be on Thomas at all, but hopefully Aqib Talib. As for Peyton, I'm beginning to hate his punchable face as much as I hated Jim Haslett as the Saints HC.

Screw being quiet. The Saints road to the playoffs is harder than the one for the Rams, and so I believe we will meet in the Coliseum. I wanna fukkin destroy their cocky @sses. Do it Marcus...

Can’t believe people saying Marcus should be respectful but a head coach on the opposing team doesn’t have to be.?? Asshole Face is a arrogant douche that’s one reason why I wanted to beat the saint so bad but I guess knocking them out the playoffs will be a better feeling. I can’t stand the saints now. And I will bet any money that he came up with the whole bounty gate idea and left Greg W to take the fall for it.

I LOVE this! We're talking about football, not a friendly game of pickleball at the country club. Shit talk is part of the game. Some players get motivated by it and love to prove others wrong!

Peters has been getting dragged by the media all week, and I know he saw it. Hearing that Payton was chiming in as well could be the icing on the cake. I'm hoping that Peters responds positively from this, fingers crossed
