Wanted to see what kinds of ideas are out there.
As I look at who's available I have some names that are interesting for me.. and want to hear from others.

At WR... one name that's jumping at me is Darius Slayton. He feels like exactly the kind of guy to put opposite of Puka who can be a more reliable piece. And he's still young enough.. but should be a plug and play upgrade. He won't break the bank either.

At Corner.. I'm just not sure where to go. This is where I think I'd rather keep the guys we have and add a first rounder. But, if you're going to go big.. I like Byron Murphy.

At ILB.. how about Cody Barton?

These seem to me to be the three biggest positions of need.

They also may need to find a big run-stuffing kind of D tackle if they let Bobby Brown walk.

I've been going on a Darius Slayton campaign of my own on the net the last few days. I think he could be our Robert Woods. Woefully underutilized by a failing organization but ripe to become a huge asset. I'd still go for Higgins first just to see but Slayton, Elijah Moore and Hollywood Brown are my targets in free agency if no Higgins.

Corner I'm a little conflicted about. Our secondary has been really good since the buffalo game. If the pass rush is this good and might get better, maybe we're okay with just decent players back there.

ILB I want Nick Bolton or Dre Greenlaw :censored: hopefully someone like Mcvay can get him to reign in the antics.

I'd also want to kick the tires on Kyle Pitts.

I get the Tee Higgins love. I just don't want to break the bank for one player and that's what it will take to sign him, imo.

I'd rather sign Slayton and a decent vet CB for the same price.

One reason is that I count on Whittington doing a little more next season.

if the Rams cannot get Alaric Jackson to resign, a left tackle will the number one priority.
Not sure who they could target.

Unless Jedrick Wills of Cleveland hits Free agency, there is very little available at LT.

And Wills has missed 21 games the past two seasons.

Jackson’s contract will be interesting. Like you said.. no one on the market.
I’m not gonna be surprised if he gets 20 million

Who would Slayton be upgrading? Kupp or DRob?

Are you keeping Kupp?

It might no be their choice unless they franchise tag him and I'm not sure he is worth that. I hope he wants to stay just not at the franchise tier of money.
Don’t think it’s an option to let him go. If you can’t sign, you tag. Then you draft one in first round. Would change whole offseason, imo,

Dotson's cap hit is $17M... so Jackson is certainly worth at least $20M

I'm not thrilled about this free agent class.

WR - I like Higgins a lot and am ok with Slayton.
CB - Reed is my top priority. After that, I'd rather just turn to the draft.
ILB - I don't like any of the young ILBs but Greenlaw who's got injury concerns. But I'd be fine with some of the older, stopgap types.

My free agent list in order of priority:

DJ Reed - solid coverage skills AND a great run defender which is mandatory IMO.
Tee Higgins
....
....
....
Darius Slayton
Dre Greenlaw - If he's recovered from his injuries.
Bobby Wagner - Cheap 1 year contract.
Calais Campbell - Cheap 1 year contract.
Eric Kendricks - Cheap 1 or 2 year contract.

Spotrac is projecting Slayton's value at $15M per year. Still better than Higgins probably getting $25M or more, and he could blossom with a real QB.

I'd say drafting a WR is more likely than a free agent one.

To be honest keeping tutu or Robinson for cheap might be a better option as well.

WR- Godwin, Diggs then if we miss out Slayton (Yes I'd love Tee Higgins but think he's gonna get paid a ridiculous amount), I'd even entertain a trade for Tyreek Hill if its not crazy draft compensation as he has speed that kills

TE - Pitts or Mark Andrews if they don't break the bank

ILB - Bolton

CB - Reed or trade for Marlon Humphrey

RT - Mekhi Becton (some serious beef)....yes I know he's a guard but he came out as a RT....this is only if Big Rob is done and surprisingly retires

My big all in would be to trade for Myles Garrett but that would require some trades for sure and is pipe dream. No I'm not saying we do all these things but just throwing out my thoughts lol
