Remains to be seen.

That's why I was careful to use the word hopefully. It's really going to come down to whether our Special Teams Coach has what it's gonna take to turn his mess around, his credibility has certainly taken a hit so far.

Yeah, I noticed your wording. I was just expressing my skepticism.

I had high hopes for a big turnaround under the leadership of Joe DeCamilis. Maybe the formula for picking special teamers is all wrong on Snead’s end. He seems to look for elite athletic traits towards the end of the draft and in UDFA. Maybe he should look for more pure football minds. Athlete doesn’t always equal football player, despite the fact that great athletes can succeed in college football.

having Cal Poly for an alma mater generally doesn’t give you much to crow about unless you are watching Jeopardy ……

I hope this kid lights it up!

GO MUSTANGS!!!!
Cal Poly Pomona Broncos right here, baby :sunglasses: (but we called it Cow Poly). Class of 94 and 96.

Good to see Cal Poly SLO graduating other notable people not named Weird Al Yankovic.

Some cool Cow Ploy Pomona football trivia:

Jim Zorn was our QB in 73 and 74, and in a Rams connection, our guy Roman Gabriel was our coach from 80-82 until the program was shut down for financial concerns.

Class of '87. Comp Sci from School of Engineering.

Favorite memory: Friday nights slinging water balloons from surgical tube slingshots at unsuspecting firepit partiers in the dunes of Montana de Oro.

We could do worse. I could stand a couple Kupp clones.

I didn't know that. My old HS football coach Welch went on to coach at Poly.

Bubble gum alley.
True story.
I lived in apartment above the Cigar Factory, and parked across the street and walked thru that alley to go home.
I remember when there were 10 pieces of gum on the wall next to Higuera Street.
Don’t (didn’t) chew gum, so never contributed.
Didn’t even know about it till some Architecture buddies and I had a 25 year reunion in the late 90’s.
Wall is amazing.

Gotta Love Cal Poly, isn't that the college that Tom Cruise ended up going to in the movie "All the right moves?"

She said she'd married her an architect
Who kept her warm and safe and dry
She would've liked to say she loved the man
But she didn't like to lie

Koski is a solid option for punt returner for us...

for Kick offs though.... remember we have this guy on our roster right now...
Koski can return kick offs too, however, against Houston Buddy Howell was back there returning kickoffs. Koski returned 31 kickoffs in college with a 22.1 yard average.
