Verse is just playing with his food.

At a certain point, he is bound to lock-in and start finishing plays. He is only a second year player so there is still room to add a higher ceiling (AD 2) to his already stellar floor (all-pro).

Agent 0, on the other hand, looks overwhelmed at the point of attack. It came out that he has a knee injury, so maybe it is that.

Verse was going up against Thuney who is one badass immovable Olineman.

Regarding the missed tackles, a YouTuber did a breakdown on Verse but he does miss a ton of tackles which can be attributed to his short arms 32 1/4.

Verses power of course is unmatched so he’s able to not only drive tackles back into the QB but destroy the run at an elite level.

Take the good with the bad, overall he causes havoc and destroys offenses.

Landman has some weaknesss as well, especially in pass coverage, but look what he’s done for our run game.

I”ll disagree in the SENSE B.Young is an ALL PRO. I was going to ask about it & think the B.Y thing went over my head on Mcvays injury report. The Forbes shoulder injury might have been for The Best Ahkello & D. Williams were the REAL starters,but COBIE DURANT has been as starter and rotation guy all season.
My take is D. Williams went out with an injury & not sure when it happened during the season. E. Forbes took over A starting CB role.

Goes to show The Depth!!

Back to B. Young,he wasn’t right from the start.The first play of the game Jared Verse lined up on the LDE/OLB spot. Jared Verse got burned for 34 !!
Cobie Durant SAVED the first drive with a INT !! The Rams go down the Field & score a TD !!

N.Young looked like he was on ICE SKATES.He NEVER was able to get his foot in the ground.Knew something was up with him from the Beginning!! It shows & yes DJ Johnson was a better option.YOUNG couldn’t stop the RUN.Johnson was able to contain alright. Stewart is getting better & experience??
 
All things said and considered; I will take our defense over theirs also our QB, OL, & HC over theirs! Oh, I will also take our WRs, TEs, & RBs over theirs in this game. Let us not forget our special teams have been playing better as of late which could be a factor in this game.

I don't think it will happen in the top 3 picks but maybe either in FA or more likely later in the draft and UDFA we will add LB's edge and ILB.
We seem to really like to take some flyers on potential and see if it pays off.

We have done very well at edge and been OK @ ILB. I see us adding to both but not at the price of high draft capitol

One thing that happened was when we lost Lake, McCollough had to take on more of Lake's responsibilities and not play dime backer as much, that then put more emphasis on Landman in coverage... which isn't good.

Certainly doesn't preclude him being hurt though.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd grow out of those issues from his rookie season, but he still seems like a lunger. It's almost like his hands don't grab people the way they should.

Young has not been ruled out.

McVay has stated Young is expected to play.

There is a Major Drop-off from the Pro Bowl Byron Young to Desjuan Johnson, who was a game-day inactive for much of the Season.

Other than that, you nailed it!

Oh, and should Young not be able to play, Josiah Stewart would almost certainly get the start and play more snaps than Johnson.

These are exciting games the Rams are playing. You should try to watch one.
