BoomIt doesn't really matter anymore, Goff has already established himself as our starter. I hope Mannion leaves so he can develop and maybe turn into a starter. Who knows, who cares. Won't be here because we already have our guy.
I use stats, regardless of the source, when I need to prove a point. Now ill agree that stats don't always paint the whole picture. Just like the 2 throws you mention he made that I will agree were very good throws, Don't paint the whole picture. There was another throw he made that was perfect and Austin completely missed it. But if your going to give Mannion the slack for not being prepared due to lack of starts, don't blame it on an offensive line who a few players had less experience than mannion, bc they actually over performed.Seems like people pick and choose when to use PFF stats. But the throw to Thomas on 3rd down wasn’t him reading the field or the bomb downfield wasn’t a good throw when he had time. Or the deep crossing route he put on the money to Reynolds when he had time. It’s amazing how all of a sudden a guy making his first start is supposed to do all of this stuff we know takes more than 1 game to get down
If I marked it inappropriate it was a mistake on my part. I will check on that. My apologies. I fixed it for you. I’m all thumbs sometimes on this phone.
So Mannion basically just ensured that there will be a backup competition next year in camp. Rams might even sign a backup type or scoop one off the offseason waiver wire, it's definitely a position fans don't think about until they gotta think about it, but I'm sure McVay is a bit different there.
What's inappropriate is you have a picture of my fiance as your avatar. TAKE THAT SHIT OFF!!!If I marked it inappropriate it was a mistake on my part. I will check on that. My apologies. I fixed it for you. I’m all thumbs sometimes on this phone.
Corbin, she told me I was the only one. But then she tells that to all her many “fiancées” at The Mustang Ranch. What's inappropriate is you have a picture of my fiance as your avatar. TAKE THAT crap OFF!!!
he made some decent throws...lSeems like people pick and choose when to use PFF stats. not sure he gets hype...just a few fans that remember his Junior year in college...seems like...to me...if Baker Mayfield knows how to look off a defense, Mannion should too.can someone please tell me why he gets the hype
Seems like he's been here forever...He is in his 3rd year not 5th year. And if you didn’t notice the way McVay was calling plays then just watch the game again. McVay was just trying to get out there. After Mannion took those early hits McVay went ultra conservative couldn’t get the running game going and No one was able to help Mannion out. It seems like every receiver need perfect ball placement needs the pass to be just soft enough unless of course it’s talking about Goff.
And the offensive line didn’t play well no push too many free runners coming at Mannion guys getting beat right off the snap I definitely don’t know what game you watched
Close to how I would grade him out.Sean "I only stare down one receiver" Mannion.
Accuracy: D
Footwork:C
Ability to read the field: F
Arm strength: B
Able to avoid pressure: F
I was expecting alot more from Mannion.

Mannion is my guy he is better in the pocket then people give him credit for he’s very smart and knows the assignments of everyone on the field. I’m expecting a big day and a big win.
Did you see how much pressure Mannion was under?Man.... @I like Rams .....totally agree bro....what the hell was that? Check down Sally? Not even trying to win....yeah there were some drops...bunch of them...Everett...geez...Tavon...expected...Pharoh dropped one too, huh? And Reynolds... I saw a bunch of that Beaver in him....the one without Cook. To ME...it looked like he didn't even practice this week....nor has a clue of how to play in the NFL. Seriously....
If there isn't someone better our there...that's a shame....I'd take about 5 QB's I've seen play in college this last week....and not the big names either...
Man, the line played well...better than expected...wouldn't you agree, Boni????
5th year....how'd he acquit himself?? Look around the backup QB landscape? I will say....the drops didn't help him....but he was terribly inaccurate....almost comical the way he was throwing 3 yard passes when we needed 8.
