Yeah I hate when the Rams are the media choice. Going back to the Fisher days it's seemed like the Rams get caught up in their clippings at times. Even under McVay every season they have had that window to move into a high seed they tend to choke and slide.
For this game though they still feel like they're in the underdog role. Still a lot of folks going Tampa. Where the concerns on them reading their press clippings might factor in is if they dunk the Bucs this weekend. That would get them ridiculous hype. So maybe an understated win is best here.

The Rams have only lost to four teams, all playoffs teams...two #1 seeds. This means we won the games we were supposed to and lost to teams that are just as competitive.
In the games we've lost, we've struggled against teams with elite DLs that can bull rush and collapse the pocket. Tennessee and the 9ers have DLs that are elite. 16/17 of Stafford's INTs have occurred when against 4 or less pass rushers.
We have a REALLY good team. Not many teams have DLs with elite interior strength. "Experts" know this too...they all just bought into the "Stafford hasn't won a playoff game and has thrown a lot of INTs in the second half of the season" narrative. Now that he has a playoff game under his belt, they can't use that argument anymore. They've always known that we're explosive if Stafford plays a clean game.

That’s a crazy stat about the ints and they’re saying that Stafford is the best qb in the playoffs against the blitz. It’s interesting that the Bucs are the heaviest blitzing team in the playoffs.
Stafford had the greatest single season performance against the blitz in the stat cast era this season - not just a playoff thing.

Rule #1; Never listen, and I mean never, to anyone who doesn't think AD is special. I'm not saying he's not right about the rams on Sunday, I'm just saying he's usually just TV bait and I would never give any of his opinions a moments thought. Doesn't mean he won't be right a small percentage of the time, but he has a horrible track record.

But all the teams left in the playoffs are worried about the Rams after this weeks smackdown.
