Hey X, whats the best forum for Fantasy discussion? Wanted to get some opinions on a draft selection but don't want to clog up your board where it isn't warranted. Thanks.

No problem. There will be 12 teams. And once the order of your draft is set, then at the appointed time, whoever holds the #1 pick will "go on the clock". They will have 90 seconds to select a player. If a pick is not made in 90 seconds....you will be shot.... Ok... I made that part up. Whoever is #1 in your ranking (if you made a pre-ranking....and if not you would get Yahoo's default listing....) would be selected. An then the 2nd pick goes through the same process. And 3rd and 4th.......till we get to the 12th pick which would be the last of the round. Once they have had their pick, the the order is reversed and #12 has the first pick of the 2nd round. And after every team has picked in the 2nd, it reverts back to the order it went during the first. It's called serpentine. The draft simply goes 1to12 in odd rounds and then 12 to 1 in even ones.
And you are required to select certain number of positions. You do not have to pick them in any particular sequence but you do have to pick 1-QB, 3-WR, 2-RB. a choice position of either a WR, RB or a TE, 1 - K, 1 - Defense/ special teams and then 6 bench players of whichever position you want to make up your bench. (an extra RB or a WR or maybe a backup QB for the bye weeks or a hard matchup. ...)

OK. So I'll log in to Yahoo at 12:45 (my time) on Sunday, and then what? Will it be obvious where I need to go? Where did you find your draft order?
12 picks, 15 rounds...could last max 4 1/2 hours. So (told you I was green), rule of thumb, my first 5 picks should be RB, RB, WR, QB, WR?
What's the typical breakdown for the bench? where does it tell me how points are scored?

I know for most of you, this is like tying your shoes, (or given this group, whacking off), but the first time for anything, there's always questions.

I'll jump in and help too. Go to yahoo! go to sports go to your fantasy team select draft cetral. From there you can edit your player order to protect yourself if you have an issue drafting. Yahoo! will pick for you if you aren't there using your order.

You can pick any position in the draft at any time but you must have a minimum of 1QB 2RB 3WR 1 RB/WR/TE 1K 1D. that does not mean you have to pick those first. Sometimes best talent is the way to go because we also allow trades and you will have injuries.

Scoring can be found under league / scoring settings

I don't have any problems answering questions. Another thing you might want to do is "pre-rank" your players (most of the time this simply is putting the guys you do not like and don't want on your team...) and then if something comes up, the system will put you on "auto-pick" (If you go a full 90 seconds w/o making a pick, the computer decides you are not there and will then make the pick from your rankings, There is usually a box to check if you want it to be turned on or come back from the john and see that it's been clicked.....). There is also "mock drafts" (under the draft central heading...) where you can do one or two to get an idea of what will happen.

Under the heading of "Draft Central" is a heading called "Overview". This will has a link to a "test" which will certify you have the proper flash, or media player to "draft" . If you pass that, 30 minutes before the draft there will be a link there to your "draft room".

Sack City is full and not accepting any more players. I have gotten about 6-7 emails requesting to join the league so far

As far as I know, all leagues are full. There's still time to make another and draft this week if there are enough interested.
