I think there's a lot of pretenders in the NFC, that's probably where we see it differently. I also feel like 6 of 8 is very doable, in fact the Rams are capable talent-wise to do better if they can get that OL consistency going.

If they don't win at least 6 of 8 they're probably gonna miss the playoffs. I see 11-5 as that playoff threshold level where they're in the mix. Now if they can win 7 of 8 and go 12-3 then I think they get in, because as I mentioned the other teams have flaws too.

Would they need help at 11-5 to get in? Yes of course I agree there. But I just feel like this team has some control here, because they're talented enough to run the table and have the coaching.

We will NOT run the table on the last 8 games. Will not happen. We shouldn't set ourselves up for heartbreak by thinking that. :(

Realistically the rams should be aiming for the division title. So fuck the whiners,

I hope the seafucks crush them. Those seafucks are so Fucking flukey, there's no way their luck will last much longer. The rams better beat those fucks senseless when they come to their house.

The 3 game losing streak made the rams look at their team without rose coloured glasses and they made the moves necessary to turn the team into a contender.

That oompa won't be running wild again. Jimmy g won't be able to complete a pass on one second. The rams d quill be coming for them next time.

.

Dang I wish what you've said was true. But Oompa Loompa has been "lucky" and winning games AND injury free for 8 straight seasons. We've been saying their luck will run out year after year. It hasn't. And the stupid 49rs are actually pretty darn good, especially on defense. It does not make me a bad Rams fan to admit the truth. I'll consider us a bit lucky if we make wild card this year. But if and when we do, it's a whole new season and miracles can happen!

Anything can happen. I'm a big boy, I can handle wishing for the rams to run the table and dealing with it if they don't.

Oh. I too WISH for it to happen.
I just don't think it will.

Seriously, a Rams win in Santa Clara would be epic and delicious. I mean, I really want that one bad!

I don't like the word "help" but the Rams could use some assistance from other matchups from week to week. Some don't want to talk about it but it's reality. We're the #7 seed on the outside looking in, and we're 0-2 in the NFCW.

I put my preferred winners in bold. This week i see:

Falcons @ Saints
This one is obvious.

Panthers @ Packers
We have a tie breaker having beaten CAR but i think the Packers take that division so i'd rather push CAR down further in the WC standings. There's certainly different opinions on this one.

Vikings @ Cowboys
Again i feel that it's best to concede to DAL likely winning their division. MIN is the #6 right now, so let's push them down to 6-4 and with a Rams win we're 6-3

Seattle @ SF
Well shit. I have to take the Niners in this one. We have to catch SEA first. With a SEA loss and Rams win we're a half game back.

Philadelphia is on a bye.
------------------------------
Anyone see it differently?
I also see it this way. As much as id like to see us win out im one of the few that don't see it happening. I think we will lose 1-2 more games. Right now I want to see progress from the OL and the running game before we worry about the playoffs because if we don't get that fixed it will a short lived playoff run if there even is one.

First of all - I DON’T like either one of them for many reasons (Of course being in the same Division is one of the main reasons!) but UNFORTUNATELY being that the Rams are competing with both of these rivals for a playoff spot I have to root for one of these teams to win! I know the correct answer is probably the Seahawks since we all still want to compete and win the NFC West Division Title but I have to admit that I am thinking that maybe I should hope the Rams catch the Seahawks first and then worry about catching the 49’s (As long as the Rams get into the Playoffs even if it as a Wild Card Team I like their chances!). The 49’s are my 2nd LEAST Favorite NFL Team (Cowboys being my least Favorite!) but I HATE to admit it but I do think they are pretty good this season and might be tough to catch so I think I will be hoping they beat the Seahawks! I know this a Very Unpopular opinion but I am not sure there is a good answer to this question!!!

I completely agree with most everything you said, including your "hate rankings", but I still believe the division can be ours.

Although now healthy, and much better than in recent years, I still don't believe this Whiner team has enough offense to continue winning as their schedule toughens.

Give me SEA this week as we reel both of them in!

I can’t stand either team but to see the 9ers undefeated? Nope, can’t have it.

I have no idea.

I think it might be best to stay focused on Seattle at the moment... so maybe best if the 49’ers win. We need Seattle out of the way to make the playoffs, or at least we need them and Minnesota on the ropes.

Not to mention, even if the 49’ers win... they seem to have a good chance to “not be playing as well” come playoff time. They might have peaked early.

This is a no brainier for me, Seahawks in a brutally physical game in which both teams get beat up a little.

If the 9ers win, the Rams are only 1 game behind Seattle

Its utterly difficult to wish anything good for either of these teams, that said, I can't stand hearing about the unbeaten whiners. I'll reluctantly take the hags this week, but hope it goes to OT and its a brutally physical game where each team takes punishment.
