Vander-esch is also a good replacement for Barron. Dude always seems to be around the ball and is really good on run defense which is exactly what we need.
This draft is a good draft for linebackers.

I would like to believe that, because the guy is killing the underwear olympics in Indy...no doubt. I don't know a few things that maybe you do. Will he be allowed to play with a prosthetic hand? His hand-less arm becomes a club in a way, tipped with something hard (prosthetic). Plus, with the force with which NFL players play seems to make the possibility of a prosthetic getting ripped off in a play, likely...
If no prosthetic, how effective can a CB be with only one hand when trying to reach up and break up balls? Will it affect his ability to tackle a guy like Todd Gurley in the open field? I know the positions are different (DE vs CB), but a few years back when John Pierre Paul blew up his hand with a firework, he had to prove to the Giants that he could still be effective with a few less fingers...This guy is missing the whole hand, so will a team give up a draft pick to gamble that a one hand CB will be effective in the NFL?
I can tell you, that I will be upset if the Rams take that gamble, unless it's as a UDFA (which I would love)

Well, many of your objections still stand, but he is actually an OLB, not a CB. So he would still have to cover TEs, just not as frequently, especially since he probably would be a pass rushing specialist. Not likely to be a high draft pick, since he's unlikely to be an every down player, but I could see using a 6th, maybe even a little higher, on him.

Maybe a 6th...Not many 6th rounders pan out so taking a chance on him there wouldn't be horrific. I only hope the best for the kid...

With his speed and drive, he probably would be worth that just as a special teamer. Add in a couple plays a game when they need a rusher on sure passing downs . . .

He may, or he may also be over selling Jones now so he can move him below them when he comes out with another top five by position. He changes that list and his mind about every month. He needs to keep fans interested.
Why don't I remember you saying that about Steve Loney?
Terrell Davis says he went from being a 4th to 6th round pick to a solid 4th round pick. I could see him going in round 3.

It might have been an incomplete pec tear, but Ohio State center Billy Price needed a complete surgical procedure.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Price had surgery today after last week’s weightlifting injury at the Scouting Combine. #asexpected, the surgery was deemed successful.
Price was hoping to avoid surgery after he hurt himself during his third rep of the 225-pound bench press last week in Indianapolis.
He’s looking at a four-month recovery, which should put him in line to participate in training camp.
Projected as a possible first-round pick, teams will now have to consider the surgery and his recovery when weighing their options.

LSU RB Derrius Guice revealed that one team at last week's Scouting Combine asked him if he likes men.
PFT's Mike Florio separately confirmed the question was indeed asked. Guice retold his Combine interview experience: "Some people really try to get in your head, man. ... I’d go in one room and a team would ask me, ‘Do I like men?’ just to see my reaction. They’d try to bring up one of my family members or somebody and tell me, ‘Hey, man, I heard your mom sells herself. How do you feel about that?’" The team that asked the question has not been revealed, but it could be facing discipline if/when exposed.

While I can't necessarily agree with asking questions like that, it's bound to happen on the field so it stands to reason that they would test the person's response in an interview.
Players talk trash, some inappropriately I imagine. It's reasonable for a team to want to know if a player is going to blow up if someone makes the wrong kind of joke. How you test that without being inappropriate is beyond me. Sexual orientation, being a protected class, shouldn't be a part of any interview.

He had a broad jump of 10 ft 4 inches a 6.88 in the 3 come and 4.15 for the short shuttle. Pretty good
