I think it's pretty clear at this point that the league has given the green light to holding in order to keep the QBs safe. It's easy to see on every game I've watched, not just our Rams.
Sneaky move, I wish they would just change the rule out in the open instead of making you guess what's going to be called. If they aren't going to call the chokeholds and everything else it's really going to change the game for the worse. It will especially effect our team.
That chokehold on Donald on the bomb during the Seahakws final drive was so out in the open and so ridiculous that there is no way they just missed it.

however interestingly they called a big one at the end.. that wasn't even as bad as many I'd seen all day.

I was SHOCKED that they called the hold on the Seattle OL who held Suh at the end.

Totally shocked as so many bigger holds went uncalled...

Yeah, something's afoot.

Someone from the Rams head office needs to be sending letters and video to NFL head office. This was the most blatant game yet. This game would have been 33 to 10 if our d-line was allowed to do its thing. Last week wouldn't have been that close either.

Definitely appears the NFL wants some form of control during it's games.

It's getting more obvious with each season.

The only consistent thing about the officiating is that they are inconsistent with their calls.

Yep. A hold just like that one on Brockers sprung one of their other long runs.

On the long ball to Lockett in the fourth one of our DL (not sure who) was getting mugged. I was sure they were going to throw the flag but they didn't. Still, our defense gave up too many rushing yards when there wasn't holding. And Peters needs to buy into the "We not me" philosophy.

It was that blatant obvious hands to the face to Donald allowing Wilson to escape on the play right before they called the hold vs Suh.

Getting tired of seeing obvious holding, I don't even look for it but that one sure stood out. Seeing our guys charging in and then suddenly stop momentum when they're passing the o-lineman is bullshit.

On that hold on Donald that allowed Seattle’s long pass on their final drive, the Olineman had a finger in the ear hole of his helmet. Ridiculous.

Some argue that the NFZl never change the outcome of games. Not calling the Oline holding very nearly changed it today. Someone is telling the refs not to call it.

I watched the game on NFL Redzone so I didn't see many of the plays. Does the Rams OL use a similar technique of borderline but legal holding? If so - do the refs allow the same leniency for the Rams OL?

I absolutely loath when fans are always screaming about how the refs allow so many holds on their teams.

But even I was freaking PISSED at how we were being held today AND last week with no calls.

More real than ever.

They are ruining the game.

They seem to think that all people want to watch are qbs throwing tds all game. There's nothing better than seeing a qb get sacked. To see them crumble under pressure.

Fuck this basketball scoring shit.
