Absolutely, they'll more than consider it, and they should. Shough is not some kid who needs time to develop; he's going to turn twenty-six in September. He's a whole month older than Trevor Lawrence (who was a kid who needed time to develop) and a whole year older than the quarterback he lost the competition to (Rattler). He's been injured in a lot of his college seasons and ineffective in others; it was really only last year where he broke out, and that was against much younger competition.
The Saints absolutely will consider drafting a quarterback with their first round pick in 2026, and they should.
Yep, if Sellers is sitting there at their pick, and is considered a top caliber QB prospect, they would have to take him.
I also think in regards to the Rams, if McVay really likes one or two QBs of lets say five guys that could go top 40, I think they do whatever possible to get one of those two players. He obviously values that QB position so high, so to find a kid that he wants to work with, that he feels has what it takes, they will move heaven and earth to get that kid even if it's a massive overpay, in regards to trade capital, to do so.
Now if there is not one or two guys who stands out to him, then I also don't see him forcing a pick just to take a QB. That player will have to meet a high bar to play that position in a McVay offense.
