If there's somebody better out there that will work for cheap, then let's sign him.

But Noteboom knows the system, the coaches, and probably has a house in LA still.

We could sign him after the first week of the season and save on salary by not having it guaranteed as well.

I'm NOT in favor of trusting some UDFA to back up the LT position. Too big of a gamble.

I think there's a zero percent chance the Rams go into the season with someone on our current roster serving as our backup tackle.

Arcuri? McClendon? Leveston? Some UDFA? No freaking way that's our "backup plan."

Guaranteed that the Rams will sign a vet OT before the season starts. They've got room under the cap now.

Agree in terms of looking for a better alternative but he did step in during our epic playoff run and help us to a SuperBowl. That’s money well spent, right? He has declined along with his health but that’s a little too hyperbolic to say he’s stolen money. Are you handing out the cheques or something :)
He got butt hurt when Jackson beat him out for starter and he became nothing more than a money pit.

No. I think he stopped putting in the work and never played thru injuries.

OMG WE LOST NOTEBOOM!!!!!

Anyway, I had a bone-in pork chop for dinner from a local restaurant last night, and DAMN it was good ... can't stop thinking about it.

If he was still that guy sure, but he is not even close anymore. He did not play well when called upon last season.

The 2022 season crash was set in motion due to the line injures and Boom was one of the first to go down. He got paid to be a stater but could not stay health and lost his job to Jackson an undrafted FA diamond in the rough. FWD to 2025 and Jackson is the starting tackle with a nice extension and and Noteboom is on the street where he belongs.

Note: He was not even active last season for the playoff game against Philadelphia. Arcuri was activated from the PS instead. That is a pretty sure sign to me Boom is probably done in LA. Also gives me hope that Arcuri might have turned the corner and might actually be a reliable backup now.
That’s called the Whitworth effect. Big White took Noteboom under his wing and elevated his play. Once Whit retired Noteboom never approached that level again.

The fact remains that we still need a backup LT. I agree we could do better than Noteboom, but we still need SOMEBODY.

Finally the Noteboom experience is over. Now he can be added to the Bobby Evans, Allen Robinson, Greg Robinson, etc, etc, etc pile of shit.

That's nothing. I just had a burger in K.C. that weighed two pounds: one with the meat, one with the bun, double cheese, tomatoes, and onions on it and pretty good fries.

It was delicious.

Noteboom did have the one game in the playoffs against the Bucs but everything lately has been pretty poor. He can’t stay on the field physically and when healthy he’s the weakest link. I get that he’s got experience but it’s bad experience. Good luck Ravens. You’re going to need it.
