The next thing I would like to see posted here is, "there goes the Boom".

$1 is too much for a player that’s always hurt.
All we do is pay his medical bills.

So it’s unanimous Noteboom sux and support for him stands between Hell and No - so for the vet minimum sure let’s bring the band back together (Reeder, Note, Demby, Allan Robinson).
Not true at all. That doesn’t characterize my support.

My support stands between “fuck no” and “are you fucking kidding me??” which happens to be located very near “put down the crack pipe.”

McClendon is solely a RT I believe.
Yeah - I’m not sure only because KT Leveston was injured & I don’t remember what the preseason looked like as far as starters.

The 1 thing WE know is Sean Mcvays system has been working.
WE can go back to the Oldschools ways of how things in History were done.
Things have come a VERY long ways from the days you use to play & or grew up knowing.

-Just within w/ Les Snead as a GM & his 2 HC’s and there philosophy’s.

The thing WE can’t do right now is put someone in a BOX as far as NOW!!
I guess in a way that is good if The Rams just keep Steve Avila as there LG & Big Rob as there RT,but still in OTA’s & early training camp moving younger players around isn’t a bad thing.

BTW fearsome - the Oldschool way was even in Jr/high & HS there was HAZING! In The NFL it was a Ling Time Practice!!

The way SEAN MCVAY does it is amazing. Players come in as a TEAM(WE) from the start of OTA’s. He doesn’t really separate the players.Maybe a quick get to know each other & the playbook, but The Mentoring starts early.

In the preseason he gives rookies a chance to play & start.Raheem with EJ53 his rookie year told him after the last preseason game. Remember how you prepared to start.Always prepare as your going to be a starter, because that time will come sooner than later.

He started for The Rams in the Superbowl as a rookie & made one of the biggest plays in Tams History if you’re counting Super Bowl wins only. Which is a small sample size.WE all remember 2000 ?

Noteboom just signed to one year minimum. Unfortunately the veteran broke his wrist while signing his deal and will be out for the foreseeable.

Absolutely not. Leveston and McClendon are both younger options, and I think the ship has sailed.
Neither one of these guys can play LT. I'm not on the Noteboom train but we need something outside of what we have on the roster.

If we keep him again thist year after the constant disaointment that is Joe Noteboom, our scouting dept has a bling spot.
Nothing wrong with a bling spot

I remember Ramsey saying playing for McVay was the only time he hadn't been belittled by a coach.
Interesting.

uhhh...yes.

We may not have won the Super Bowl without him stepping in and playing a nearly perfect game against Tampa in the divisional round. He's never been good as a starter for whatever reason - but he can give you one good game and that can be the difference between winning it all and not

If he was still that guy sure, but he is not even close anymore. He did not play well when called upon last season.

The 2022 season crash was set in motion due to the line injures and Boom was one of the first to go down. He got paid to be a stater but could not stay health and lost his job to Jackson an undrafted FA diamond in the rough. FWD to 2025 and Jackson is the starting tackle with a nice extension and and Noteboom is on the street where he belongs.

Note: He was not even active last season for the playoff game against Philadelphia. Arcuri was activated from the PS instead. That is a pretty sure sign to me Boom is probably done in LA. Also gives me hope that Arcuri might have turned the corner and might actually be a reliable backup now.

My reply was sarcastic referencing difference in opinion on Note. Should have posted in blue.

There was a tad bit of sarcasm in my first line.

However, my assessment of whether I'd bring back Noteboom ... no sarcasm at all.

Your post was very persuasive.

I was leaning towards not wanting them to resign Noteboom until you mentioned Arcuri. If he's the alternative then by all means 100% yes, let's go with NB. If there's anyone worse than Noteboom, it's Arcuri.

But I think you're right: the fact they dressed Arcuri versus Noteboom in the last game suggests that there is no future for Noteboom on the team.

No, as in "NO fucking way in hell do we resign Noteboom". He's stolen enough money already.
Agree in terms of looking for a better alternative but he did step in during our epic playoff run and help us to a SuperBowl. That’s money well spent, right? He has declined along with his health but that’s a little too hyperbolic to say he’s stolen money. Are you handing out the cheques or something :)
