I just saw Fisher and Snead on NFLN and from the way they where Talking, after the 1st round, they don't plan on picking until "Saturday!!" Which means to me they don't plan on trying any "Trade-Up!!" Thoughts!?

I don't put much weight in what they say before the draft. If someone offers a 3rd for Nick Foles (doubtful, but not entirely impossible) they'll jump on that like my black lab on a dropped T-bone.

"sam is our qb". a few days later he was shipped to philly.

That doesn't mean we can't trade a " Player" for a Draft pick!

So we're actually trusting what they say in this one instance? Seems sketchy. Of course they may not "plan" to and do it any way.

If some premier defensive talent just happens to drop into the third, do you really think they'll sit idly by? Lets say teams are REALLY that concerned about Nkemdiche and he free falls (not at all likely, but still). Fisher is going to have Snead on all of the phones.

We're fresh out of ammo.....I figured we'd make the 1st pick then I would take a two day break as a casual observer. Then on day three....war paint baby! LOL (or as much war paint as a couple 6th round picks justify)

If snead or fisher see a player drop enough and they have him rated as a prospect who can help an area on the team now, I hope they trade up and get that player.

We still have foles and even to a degree mason. They could become very handy if a team is in need of some qb or rb to help them in their rosters.

With that being said, I would only take a wr or te in the above scenario.

There is not point in trading up when we have so many needs. I think it's more likely that we trade down at this point.

Of course they dont plan to pick again till Saturday, they dont have any 2nd or 3rd rd picks to plan on using Friday. But as many above have pointed out if the right deal presents itself Snead will be all over it, and hopefully Foles will be part of said deal.
