Can't they just call it Rookie minicamp and forego the drama?
Only people making drama about it are fans and media trolls that feed on drama. Haven't heard a serious complaint about it yet

I was born in 1960, so I think that makes me a Baby Boomer; and I like to joke around.

I don't think the Rams will be good in 2023, so I guess that also makes me a Doomer.

So does that make me a Rams' Fan Boomer-Doomer, with a goofy sense of Humor?!?
That's the rumor. :quiet:

But I do like that they're not caught in the drama/methods of how they USED to do it.

They're coming up with new ways to be successful and have a couple Super Bowl appearances to show for it.

(Go Rams!) lol

I don't tbh, I just generally ignore the people that have already given up on the season and think we can only win a few games.

McVay, Stafford, Donald, Kupp…

This team is going to play ball and win some games.

Have faith and enjoy the ride. It’s more fun that way. In a whack way losing makes winning even more sweet. That’s what is cool about sports and in the NFL… every week I can make a case we win. I love that about football.

Every week can be a great feeling. If it’s a loss, oh well really. It’s just football.

I still have beer.

Go Rams!

Seems some of you didn't read the article. They are not "giving it up", they just use the time differently. This is not new for the Rams either. I think this may go back to the Stl days actually.
I agree with @CGI_Ram that the article doesn't make things very clear. Are the Rams "giving up 3 days with rookies" or "just allocating their time with rookies differently"? Article doesn't make it clear one way or another. The headline conflicts with the body of the story.

Regardless, none of this is a big deal. Rams are a successful organization and they know what they're doing. Just wish the author of the article had explained more clearly what his point was in saying "Rams do it differently than the other 31 teams" and then not spelling out exactly what he means by that.

The rookies will be practicing & scrimmaging with Aaron, Matthew, and Cooper. Do you really think that they will remain rookies in any but the most technical way by the time the season starts?

There's a segment of the media that gets off on acting like the Rams don't know what they're doing... or just add drama for no reason

Our formula has been the same for years now... and it's been successful...
