I‘d prefer the old days and never change them again.

That helmet is fucking magnificent.

Eight year old boy comes in from playing outside, and his dad was watching a Rams-Vikings game on a black and white, portable TV with a 9" screen. Kid sits down on the floor and asks "Who is playing?"

Dad replies "Rams and Vikings." Boy gets up, goes to the screen and points to the team with the Rams horns on the helmet, asking "Which one are they?" This kid was not too bright.

Father answers "That's the Rams." Boy sits back down and announces "I am a Rams' fan."

Dad looks over and says "We live in New York. We are Giants' fans."

Disappointed, the kid asks "I can't be a Rams' fan?"

Father smiles and says "You can root for whoever you want." This boy had a Great Father.

I have been a Rams' fan ever since!

Could it be they know that any throwback with the old style uniform and maybe if that includes the old horns on the helmet, that they know the fan reaction would be to throw out the new unis for the throwbacks. So maybe they want the current uniforms to be more established for a few more yrs before putting out a "competitor".

but the Vikings fans I talked to prefer the matte helmet , and thats actually their most prefered uniforms and what most Vikings fans wear on Madden

1960's uniforms , 2020 matted helmet

every Vikings I fan I talked to say they hit it out of the park

Seahawks unveiled their throwbacks today as well , they look pretty good

Oh, I just meant it's a failure for me. I expect everyone else to love the new stuff. :D

I prefer the shiney finish too. And a darker helmet like they had in the past. And while we're at it, let's have all teams go back to the smooth. I don't see where a bunch of holes, divots, and creases prevents concussions.

Seattle's throwbacks are so awesome looking. It just amazes me why these teams turn to ugly uniforms, then years later when they announce throwbacks nearly everyone likes those better. Why change a good thing in the first place? Sell outs!! I'm really not one to change the identity of a team over and over. Just get it right the first time and stick with it. I stand and applaud the Raiders, Chiefs, Packers, Colts, and others for sticking to their classics for the most part. Also the ones that kept their same helmets (or close enough) like the Steelers, Cowboys and Bears. I puke at those that went ugly and continue to do so. Watch when the Bucs creamsicles come out again now many will love them.

Demoff has been great - almost everything on the move and in LA has been fantastic.

But uniform/logo is the one fail. Overthinking it and trying to do too much. He had an easy home run and instead tried to bunt for a triple.
