Great signing to a great player, I hope that contract eats up most of their cap to prevent them from signing premium talent at other positions

Pay him that much to not be used for what he's best at? Here's hoping he's a pain in the ass and refuses to do certain shit in the offense this season.

If antagonizing Niner fans with Super Bowl gloating when they try to pound their chests over Deebo is wrong, I don’t wanna be right!

Definitely a good player. But good luck once the contract honeymoon wears off.

That's a lot of money for a guy who can't run routes and doesn't stay healthy.

Haha, 9'ers suck.

Also, Bobby Wagner erases him if the NFC Championship game is played today. (Along with Nick Scott.)

Waggz pretty good but Dweebo would have to run straight to him in order to tackle him...Bobby gettin' a little slow and Dweebs probably out runs him on the angle

I think they had no choice if they want to be competitive. Lance is gonna need all the help he can get. He won't have to risk throwing deeper with Deebo and Kittle. Shanahan can do with him what he did with Garoppolo. Except it cost a bunch of picks for a guy who doesn't have as quick a release for those quick passes over the middle.

Speaking of Garoppolo, this probably ensures he'll be cut. They don't want to pay that salary after giving Deebo his. I doubt anyone wants to trade for him and pay that kind of money for a short term guy. Who can only play in a specific system with specific type of weapons.

I'm hoping most of you are right about Lance and his shortcomings. If not...then we may be in a world of $#!T for years to come. Plus the time is coming soon that we will need to find another QB: Matt aint playing forever.

Lance could go either way. Focusing on ints in practice is silly, either way.
No ints could mean a guy is just playing it safe… lots could mean he’s taking risks he won’t in a game to see what he can get away with.
He had flashes last year, and we won’t know much until the lights are on.
That being said.. if he keeps playing to contact on runs… he won’t last.

Haven't seen Wagner slowing down. he had 170 tackles last year, and the Seahawks have shut down the Niners running game over the years. Wagner is a huge part of that.

good deal...how many of those tackles were 5+ yards downfield? I'm not sold on him and here's hoping he proves me wrong. Why would the 'Hags let him walk if he was going to be such a stalwart and integral part of their defense?
