I can't really fault anyone for thinking KC is the better team at this point. To dismiss what they are doing would be a mistake. That will all be settled in 3 weeks regardless. Until it is settled again at the end of the year.

I would be more impressed if their defense didn’t blow....Hopefully Talib will be ready by that time. I wouldn’t want him to miss that beat down.

Eh, I've heard bigger. The Chiefs are the team to beat, IMO. Not bc of pure talent, but bc people want to see if they are for real. With how well we did last season and the additions we added this season, you would expect a team to do as well as we are doing, if not better.

One thing the media doesnt bring up, and wont bring up, is that we had to not only go against the seahwaks and Broncos, but the refs as well those 2 games. I've NEVER seen such piss poor officiating in my life. If those games were even officiated half as good as they were, we would have put those teams out with out it being as close.

I just hope the chiefs and Rams keep playing at this high of a level. Mexico City is going to be like a mini super bowl. Maybe the best match up since the Ravens and Steelers were the best rivalry in football a few years ago.

His opinion. But to go unchallenged that QB is better, offense is better, special teams is better....what?

You can say the are comparable. I think our special teams, though, is superior.

Actually, Nick Wright has been propping up Goff all season. And here he isn’t wrong. He said Mahomes has been better than Goff so far this year, but Goff has also been excellent. And if we look at the stats, Mahomes has been the best QB in the league. All of that can change, and I personally think Jared Goff is a top 10 QB in this league now, hands down, but Mahomes has been impressive to say the least.

...another thing. Someone from our tight end room better step up. Jared needs his Pete Holohan.

Mahomes is this years Watson... they play backyard offense .. dump off to Hill and let him streak for 70 plus yards .. same goes for hunt ..

and to say their special teams is better than ours ?
the we haven't beat anyone narrative
we will have to go 19-0 to get any slither of credit and recognition

Based on what?

Goff has 2130 yards, only 93 less than Mahomes, and Mahomes has a whopping 33 more attempts.

Completion % - Goff 69.7% to 64.9% for Mahomes

YPA - Goff 9.77 versus 8.86 for Mahomes.

Are we basing this solely on TD's? Might I remind everyone that Gurley has 11 TD on the ground.

As long as the Pat's have Brady and bellichick , chiefs are second best team in AFC. They will again lose to the Pats in the playoffs

Well really that game in Mexico might not settle anything. The two teams could still end up meeting in the Super Bowl and that's where the last team standing is all that matters. Or the one who wins in Mexico might get eliminated in the playoffs and who cares that they looked so good early in the year.

TBH all the talk and BS around the regular season crowning of "hot" teams can kiss my @$$. If the Rams can get Talib back for the playoffs they'll be an immensely better team for when it matters. Let the talking heads spew their nonsense who cares.

A better defense for sure, and it's already ranked 7th in yards and 4th in points.

I'm with a couple people above in that I cannot knock what the Chiefs are and have done. I honestly think they've proven more than we have from an opposition standpoint. And I really enjoy watching them play. I have a lot of "wow, how good are these guys" moments just as I do the our team. I think it's kind of funny that they believe the Chiefs special teams is not only better than the Rams but by a large margin. That is just flat wrong. Is their offense more explosive? I'd say yes. But by a narrow margin. Is our defense better? I'd say yes by a larger margin. Ultimately, I think if we faced off on a neutral sight 10 times, it'd likely be split. They are as close of an AFC doppleganger as they get. I'm honestly excited to see us face them in 3 weeks. Whether we win or lose, I think it's going to be an exciting battle. Go Rams!

I just looked up two stats on special teams: Punting and Punt Returns and yes KC is on top of both. Some crazy numbers like 19 yard punt return average and 48 net yards.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/punting/sort/netAvgPuntYards

Hekker is just below 40 Net but, he has 2 more inside the 20. KC 16 punts and LA 15 punts. Both are good but, KC has some staggering numbers. Hekker has been punting inside the 50 a lot. That should change with JZ back.

Talking Heads: no..no...NO! Your not seeing this right, because Patty Mahomes and the Chefs makes us all feel funny inside...bubbly, you know? ANYWAY, the Pats barely beating the Chefs just shows how great they are! 40-43 says how prolific the Chefs are offensively..
Us: where was the defense in that game?
Talking Heads: no...no..no..You don't understand...
