Sorry. First off, Bitcoin is kinda of like an untraceable internet currency. I haven't used it yet. I know in its early days it was VERY volatile. It'd be one price one day and something completely different the next so it kinda turned me off. I haven't kept up with it but hopefully it's a little more stable now.

A VPN is a virtual private network which basically takes your internet connection(IP), secures the connection, and assigns you a new IP address so people can't identify you or know where you're located. You have to pay for a VPN

PIA, or Private Internet Access, is a VPN provider.

Basically, if you want to watch or download something that might be in a legal grey area, it's probably wise to use a VPN. There are other uses for it, as well. Like if you live in a different country but want access to Netflix America. You can trick Netflix's servers into thinking you're in the U.S. so you can watch U.S. programming instead of what they offer in other countries. You could probably use a VPN to watch a game online that's been blacked out because you're in the home team's TV area. You can make the service think you're living in NY, Chicago, etc so the service would lift the blackout.

$25 risk, high reward-i'll take a shot! Anything beats listening to Germans (nothing personal, mind you) do play-by-play. I should have learned more German than how to order beer and pizza during my 2 years there while in the Air Force many years ago. :) Thanks for your efforts Chris! How do we do this?

I'll write a guide here when I get home from work. It's a little more technologically advanced than say signing up at NFL.com, but not too bad once you do it.

Peerblock is great for that - and also avoiding known malicious torrents.

I just connect PIA to a Chicago location so it doesn't mess my ping up too bad and then delete all the trackers from the torrent. I use Tixati as my client.

I also download them all from the same guy on a site, unless he doesn't have what I'm looking for.

I'll be doing a step by step guide for free. I can also be available for PMs if you need further help, those are also free.

Everything is free!

Edit: I might write the guide up in Word and PM it to people that want it. I'm not sure I want it to be searchable on google. Only want to help members out here who want it.

I've written a guide on how to sign up for the service. I'm going to post it here. If the mods don't wish for it to be posted, I can hang onto it on my Google drive and send it to those who PM me.

Don't click the links. I thought I'd be able to post it directly from Google Docs, but I didn't like the formating, so I went and uploaded it to Imgur. Once again, any questions, I'm here when you need me, just PM.
