The Lions and Jaguars appear to be emerging from the darkness of suckitude.

Who takes their place as the NFL bottom feeders?

To me, the baton seems ready to pass to the Commodes, Texans, Bears, Saints, or Falcons. Those are teams I wouldn’t be too excited about if I were a fan.

All depends on what moves they make. The Falcons IMO have a good Head Coach in Arthur Smith, they need a QB although some would debate it's Desmond Ridder. Lamar Jackson would be an excellent fit in Atlanta.

The Texans I believe will on the rise with Ryans as their Head Coach, however, ownership there is a clown show. The Saints I believe will be struck in neutral under Dennis Allen, they will need a new Head Coach to reenergize that franchise and the Chicago Bears need to find weapons for Fields, although they will probably draft all defense because that is the Bear way.

As to Washington Commodes this will be the last year of Ron Rivera as they get new ownership and find a new Head Coach next season.

Look at the Commodes roster and tell me it isn’t talented. It seems they are a QB and an improved defensive backfield away from top half of the NFL.

I look at teams tied to the wrong guys.......Arizona (Murray), Las Vegas (McDaniels)......or teams without anything/anyone obvious on the horizon.......New Orleans, NY Jets....or teams who've taken a dip and don't seem to be climbing out of it.......N. England, Carolina, Atlanta.

The ironic thing is, the NFL is set up to prevent purgatory but some teams.just can't avoid it.

Tampon has accepted their VIP membership into purgatory now.

LOLOLOLOL
Yeah, Tampa could be headed toward the cellar, for sure.

They finished 8-9 and won't have Tom Brady in 2023.

Really think the Bears can right themselves this draft with a proper trade down and picking up a lot of picks and/or trading down a little and picking up one of the top two Defensive players this draft.

They need top talent in at least 6 positions to get it together. Their GM listening to him talk seems like he has it together.

I believe if they surround Fields they can succeed.

Cleveland - Hold my beer, we ain't ever left!

Purgatory? It ain't possible to speak of those teams in Purgatory without mentioning the Indianapolis Colts. Hell they're probably the gate keepers by now and as long as they have Irsay as owner they'll be selling indulgences for the foreseeable future.

Am I the only one that thinks Howell has potential for them at QB?

If the Bears pair Fields up with the right OC and get some weapons they can be dangerous. They've got an absurd amount of cap space and draft capital to burn. Of course, that doesn't mean anything if the front office fudges it up or the coaches don't put their team in the best positions to win but they have potential with Fields if he can stay healthy running. If, if, if lol
