Not saying he isn't a great player. But a franchises greatest of all time? Sorry Steve Largent was and is one of the greatest receivers to ever play the game hell Warner and Alexander seem a better choice for that honor. Besides tbh tackles is a shit stat to judge a defensive player on. Just because you made a tackle doesn't mean it was a good tackle. Was that tackle after a 10 yard run on 3rd and 9 for a first down or was it a 2 yard stop behind the line to force a punt? Tackles are a shit stat.
Come on bro, you want beef? Lol just kidding man. Merry Christmas.

To be honest I don't have a dog in the fight and am not arguing Wagner above largent or anyone else. I am simply stating an objective observation about the man. Just because we don't like the seahawks doesn't mean wagner isn't one of the best to have done it. He's obviously not aaron donald but no one ever said he's the most dominant ilb's ever.

Everytime the rams play the Seahawks there is always a handfull of plays that wagner makes that causes my dog to hide. That, along with the tackles, are the tale of the tape for me. Can't tell me dude is only doing that against the rams.

He's very good not denying that. But would you take Patrick Willis over Rice or Montana? Wagner and Willis are/were both very good but weren't even likely the best of their time at their positions. Wagner might be closer this year with the Keuchly retirement but Leonard is better. Hell Walter Jones is one nobody has mentioned either and he was one of if not the best LT of his time and there were some damned good LT's in the league with him.

You have made very solid points man, not arguing against them at all. One thing I will add is that, yes, Darius Leonard is better at the moment; however, Leonard has been in the league for 4 years whereas Wagner has been doing this since 2012.

Was Luke Kuekely better? I think so. There's that BIG but though: longevity. Wagner is still at it man.

Isn't that one of the big things that seperates 1st ballot HOF'ers from the rest that eventually make it in? Time at the top?

Once again, not arguing against you. I'm just offering some points to objectively consider :)

Cheers brother.

Another vote for Walter Jones.

The best Ram of all time is Aaron Donald. Recency bias is often a thing but it's not here. Don't overthink it.

I'll give my vote for Seattle's best to Walter Jones as well. So smooth at pass-protection, and he was a dominant run blocker as well.

As for best Ram? I gotta go with Deacon. No offense meant to any other Ram, Merlin especially, but the Secretary of Defense literally coined a term that we still use today, and he probably owns all of the sack records for both season and career.
