NFL preseason schedule finalized

The NFL released official dates and times for all 65 preseason games on Monday, thus finalizing its exhibition slate for 2014.
As was the case in 2013, every club will play its final preseason game on the Thursday preceding the NFL regular season opener. Teams typically use the fourth exhibition game to make end-of-roster decisions, with starters seeing little or no playing time. Sixteen games are slated for Thursday, August 28, with the roster cut to the 53-player limit coming shortly thereafter.
Eight preseason games will be televised nationally, with NBC airing the Hall of Fame game between the Giants and Bills on Sunday, August 3 (8 p.m. ET) and the Sunday, August 24 matchup between the Cardinals and Bengals in Cincinnati (8 p.m. ET).
The NFL Network will also air games during the exhibition season, the league said, with the TV schedule of NFLN games to be released in July.
