I guess in preseason you play the backups, and he is a backup. But why not play the third string QB?
They only had 3 QB's in camp guess they didn't want the 3rd to take all the snaps. Think this happened on their 7th play on offense or something like that.
Its situations like this that make me appreciate McVay even more. McVay doesnt risk his back up QB for preseason, of course it could be said McVay didnt really have a back up QB until last season.
