Dolphins got some bad voodoo going on this year.
Their coach is too laid back. It's great to be the cool, laid back dude when you're smart enough to swoop in to the offensive meetings under a disciplined structure and light the board up, like he did in SF. But when you run the whole show and you're the same laid back dude the entire team will inevitably take on your mentality.

I'm sure he'll get another chance after they fire him and he has some time to lick his wounds. But also you can say that some of these guys are simply lacking the balls required to lead, because that requires an ability to consistently draw hard lines on shit and hold people accountable. This is why McVay has integrated accountability from himself on down in LA. If you're a Rams player and you get called on your bullshit in film session you nod your fucking head and move on to improve. In Miami you piss and moan and blame someone else.

I wonder how true this is. If I had to guess, I’d say you’re right. The players often talk about how much this organization feels like family - that they feel honestly cared for. I have to guess that a fair amount of discipline is involved in this family. And I’m guessing that is missing in Miami.

Odd way for Schefter to phrase it. It's not inaccurate but could be misleading to some.

Dillard was indeed 'a former first round pick' but Not of the Niners.
IMO that makes him better to not have been a Whiners 1st round pick :)

I genuinely hate injuries for any players across the league. I just hate them slightly less for the Niners.

If the Rams put Cody Shrader on the practice squad I believe the shitters will poach him. Ronnie Rivers too. Just my opinion.

Any word on what happened to Thomas? He can be designated to return...two players can receive that designation who are placed on IR before the final 53 is set.

Isn't McAllister a center we signed a couple of years back as an udfa? His name sounds so familiar
Yep, and I remember that I thought he looked decent. Thought he had a chance to develop.

Guessing they will not want to play their key back up OL this week so this guy probably gets snaps. So if Bowles or Limmer sit it could tell us where things are headed roster wise.

The very same. From Youngstown University, if I'm not mistaken. Wanted to be a firefighter if the NFL didn't work out.
