Any doubt now of what kind of person this guy is???
The number of gang leaders making him their bitch in prison?Would be deserving if he just gets 5![]()
Uhhhhhhh, the naked rampage video and his blood smeared everywhere wasn’t enough?
Nope. But then I didn't have any before this either.
This incident happened over a year ago. Why did it take this long to indict? If I were Bennett's lawyer I'd advise him to settle out of court.
He cannot settle a felony charge from the grand jury out of court to my knowledge.

NFL star Michael Bennett indicted over injury to paraplegic woman at Super Bowl 51
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Michael Bennett was accused Friday in an indictment of rushing onto the field at last year’s Super Bowl and injuring a 66-year-old paraplegic woman working as a security guard, Texas prosecutors said Friday.
A Houston grand jury returned the indictment charging Bennett with shoving past the woman as he tried to get on the field after the game to celebrate with his brother.
Bennett, 32, was charged with a felony count of injury to the elderly. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
Bennett was in the stands for the game as a spectator. He was in Houston for Super Bowl 51 to watch his brother, a member of the New England Patriots. The Pats won the game after rallying from a 28-point deficit against the Atlanta Falcons.
“NRG Security personnel, including the 66-year-old disabled victim, told Bennett he had to use a different entrance for field access,” the DA’s office said in a news release.
“Instead, he pushed through them, including the elderly woman who was part of the security team,” according to the release.
Her injuries weren't described in the release.
The Philadelphia Eagles acquired Bennett from the Seattle Seahawks earlier this month.
The charge against Bennett carries a penalty of up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Prosecutors are working with Bennett’s counsel on a surrender date, Fox 26 Houstonreported.
You're correct but this involves an alleged shove not a brutal assault. A plea deal to a lesser charge along with an out of court financial settlement is most likely to happen.

The Seahawks “were not aware” that Houston police were investigating Michael Bennett before they traded him to the Eagles, Gregg Bell of The News Tribunereports.
A Houston grand jury indicted Bennett on a felony charge of injury of the elderly, stemming from an incident at last year’s Super Bowl. The charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The 66-year-old woman, a stadium employee, sprained a shoulder after Bennett shoved her while trying to rush the field after the game, Houston police chief Art Acevedo said.
Bennett, then with the Seahawks, is a Houston native who was at the game to watch his brother, Martellus, who played with the Patriots at the time.
On March 7, the Seahawks agreed to trade Bennett and a seventh-round pick to the Eagles for backup receiver Marcus Johnson and a fifth-round pick.

NO EXCUSE
HPD says one of their officers witnessed Bennett push 3 stadium employees... injuring the 66-year-old who was in a heavy, motorized wheelchair. Cops say the wheelchair did not flip over, however, the woman was pushed back.

Well, for 1, it was at the Superbowl. After the game when there is chaos and celebrating with about 70,000 people.Bennett is a crappy person. We all know that. But this whole situation reeks. It doesn't smell right. Let's toss out a few obvious questions:
1. If the officer saw Bennett breaking the law (and assaulting an elderly woman), why did he not arrest him at the scene?
2. Why did it take 13 months for him to be arrested? The Houston PD had better things to do? Puhlease.
3. How is there no video at the freaking Super Bowl?
4. Why is an elderly woman in a wheelchair working security at the Super Bowl?(This is more of a rhetorical question)
This does not add up.
