I’m more afraid of SF than anyone else. They are playing football and been on a roll since they got Kittle back. They’re only a game behind us right ow, maes me nervous.

good god almighty....

tiebreaker scenarios.. what a headache!!!

just win more games than the cards....

tiebreakers are discussed when you don't show up when you should...

so if we lose the tiebreaker scenario.. just win the first playoff game and move on from there..

panic attack averted...

go rams

slo

ps... i love this thread every year...

I have no idea how we win that game to be honest. No idea. They will be the more physical team. We will struggle to run the ball, and we will struggle to stop their run. I have zero confidence about this one, but I do think we win the other 3 games.
The RAMS can be physical also. They just have to recognize what hasn't worked and stop planning to be able to do this time. At least until they establish something else.

If we were to win the division, the next step is to see where we would end up:

We cannot win a tiebreaker over Dallas or GB - their conference records will finish better than ours most likely.

If we were to be in the first place right now, I believe we would be the 3 seed over the Bucs, which means we would draw the Niners first. Just a thought.

I think winning the division will almost certainly result in the 3 seed and the Niners will almost certainly finish with the 6 seed.

IMO forget tie-breaker scenarios. After how the Cards have played the last two games the likelihood of them losing at least one more game is pretty good. Indy and Dallas won't be walkovers for them. The Rams simply need to win out. They are capable of it. The Niner losses IMO have been coaching losses.

Even if the Cards take the division, the #5 seed is better than the #3 seed IMO. It would be an away game, but the possible matchups look better. The division crown only means something if the Rams are the number two seed. With the Bucs loss to the Aints that is entirely possible.

I would agree. The 49ers are just a bad matchup for us. Our defense gives the short, underneath routes. The 49ers gladly take it. They won't get impatient because its a staple of their offense. I don't think Shanahan trusts Garappolo to throw downfield very often. They will slowly work their way to the endzone on our defense.

Not other then he is apparently practicing now. Doubt he is clear for contact for a few weeks though. I fully expect he will be back for the playoffs. Question is, will he be effective with having not played in a full year?

If the Horns cannot beat the '9ers, we do not deserve to compete for the Super Bowl. How can anyone be proud of being SB champs if we are afraid of a team in our own division? Isn't this part of the reason why Matthew is here? We need to re-establish ourselves as the True Sheriff of the Wild, Wild NFC West!!!

Fuck the niners.

If the Rams want the SB they need to win out, win the division, win a couple of home games and then probably go o the road to win the NFC Championship.

They have the team to do it, have been tested and are going to be peaking and battle tested.
