I don't like that I like a lot of Seattle's picks and although the 49ers are getting grief on where the selected him, I think De'Zhaun Stribling is going to be a good NFL WR. He was one of the options I wanted for the Rams in the 2nd round.

Yeah, Seattle added some nice pieces to their secondary. I know McShay loved Clarke pre draft.

Price should be a very good back for them as well.

I wanted the Rams to draft Prysock at CB.
Bummed he went to the Urinal By The Bay.
I think 4th round might be a little high, but, who knows?
I like Deven Eastern as a DT/NT type for the Rams as well.
I wanted a big body (6' 6" and 330lbs or so) for the middle. But the Rams like the stout NTs and they drafted one in the 7th. so, all good.

“Urinal By the Bay”
I love it!

The 49ers have announced a group of eight undrafted rookie additions to their roster.

Punter Jack Bouwmeester is part of the group. Bouwmeester grew up in Australia and spent three years at Utah before transferring to Texas in 2025. He averaged 44.5 yards per kick and joins Corliss Waitman as punter options for the Niners.

The 49ers are also signing North Carolina State wide receiver Wesley Grimes and Notre Dame wideout Will Pauling. They made De’Zhaun Stribling their top draft pick, so they’ll have three rookie receivers at practice in the coming weeks.

Penn State tight end Khalil Dinkins, Tennessee defensive lineman Bryson Eason, Indiana defensive lineman Mikail Kamara, Notre Dame safety Jalen Stroman, and Illinois defensive lineman James Thompson are the other new Niners.

Fuck. Really liked Eason and Kamara.

Fuck the Whiners. On the bright side, Eason and Kamara are better than any pick they made, Prysock aside.

Simpson “It doesn’t matter what anyone else does, it only matters what we do”.

Ok maybe paraphrased but, one of my favorite things about drafting him so far.

The two most annoying additions by our division rivals in my estimation:

1. Love to the Cards. No matter how you slice it we're gonna need to deal with this asshole turning seams into gainers 2x a year now.

2. Clark to the Seachickens. That defense was already growing into something special. Adding a stud like Clark is irritating as hell. That dude dominated the field in Senior Bowl week. His game's gonna play at the NFL level.

Spot on Merlin. I remember remarking 3 days before Draft that Love to Cardinals was my biggest fear as well.

And you put it perfectly, "this asshole," :laugh2:

I don't agree with the Cardinals having the best draft, simply because they took Beck in the third round. It was a wasted pick.

I also think that Jeremiyah Love was a luxury. They really needed to get that QB, and Simpson was it. Bisontis and Virgil were solid, but the rest of the draft was underwhelming.

I like that we got the best pure TE (Sadiq isn't and Stowers isn't) in this class, the best QB outside of Mendoza - and who knows what Simpson will do when he starts - with a free pick that we got from Atlanta, a physical and mean O-lineman who can play anywhere, a solid wideout, and a solid nose tackle. Add in McDuffie, and I really think we won that draft as far as division rivals go.
Love is on a huge contract so while he is a great player he is eating into their ability to pay others. They need Beck to out perform his contract. So they are toast!
:)

He was a jag in college and being 6.4 ain’t going to change that once he has our DL in his face every snap

Their defense isn’t exactly rock solid, it wasn’t addressed, and they already have two great RBs. So they added to their created strength and didn’t address some of their greatest weaknesses

The wheels could fall off Love quickly if teams do what one would expect them to do - that is pack the box, and play lots of cover 2.
