I posted a few weeks ago that I wasn't concerned about the opposition. My main concern was McVay's game management that has cost us in too many situations.
I had no concerns about our offence, which is a powerhouse that can move the ball against anyone. McVay's in-game decisionmaking continues to be poor.
Instead of gambling on 4th and 4 in the red zone late in the 4th quarter, McVay should have taken the points.
You could justify gambling if the Rams were down by 3
if you don't convert on 4th down and trailing by 4, instead of just needing a defensive stop, you put the pressure on the offence to get a touchdown instead of a field goal to tie, with little time left.
Going for it there was really boneheaded.
