I truly hope we upgrade our CB's. I don't want another year of the don't play the ball, holding BS. Durant and Forbes had their moments this year, but they are average at best.
We've got 2 #1's and cap space. We can be back even better next year (depending of Stafford).

For anyone thinking we're a few players away from a Super Bowl, sorry to tell you but getting back here isn't guaranteed and it's more likely we don't. A lot of blame to go around today but the consistent issues were defense and special teams - something that's needed to be fixed for several seasons and hasn't been.

We really are a secondary and special teams away. That's what cost us all season and that's the reason we didn't get it done today.

Maybe. But I think the defenses performance during September and October gave us a false sense of how good this team really is. The defense is really bad. They can’t cover and they can’t tackle. The offense is fantastic. Rest of the team is below average.

Xavier Smith made a truly boneheaded play and I'm not gonna excuse him, get him the fuck off the team. But the defense let Darnold throw for almost 350 yards, that's on Shula.
