I usually eat during the early NFL slate. Thats 6pm-9pm here so dinnertime. When the Rams are playing in the early window I normally do something a bit quicker and easier. Tomorrow we are late late here so will just be a normal dinner before the AFC game starts.

I lost the recipe from switching phones a few years ago, but it resembles something like this as I recognize most of the ingredients : https://montanahappy.com/new-england-clam-chowder/

It is a good idea to double the potatoes in the recipe. Cream and milk can also be increased to your liking.

I use about six cans of clams and precook bacon. The liquid from the cans will go in instead of just clam juice. Clams go toward the end and garnish with bacon and fresh parsley.
Will try. Thanks a bunch!!

I have a question for you guys; how in the hell can you guys eat during Rams games. I am too amped up and could care less about food when the Rams are playing.
I think this is a fair question.

I munch before the game, during some commercials, half time and maybe a bit after this game due to the time. We basically snack for dinner.

I never eat during game time when I am attending.

I too get pretty amped up during the games.

I don't. I either eat before or after as during Ram games most of us a partaking in adult beverages.

Ya I don't eat during games.

But I do like to plan a meal around the matchup.

The wife told me she doesn't want Seattle dogs. I'm trying to figure something else out.

She actually requested clam chowder but I made that for the last matchup we had with Seattle (a loss).

And in that moment I thought....what about Loco Moco!

Texted me wife and she responded hell ya!

So we'll be doing loco Moco for food tomorrow

I put a Boston Butt in the smoker last night around 9pm.

It should be done about 12 today.
Then into the hotbox until game time for some pulled pork sandwiches.
I also made a vinegar sauce and some honey mustard slaw.

Reecers deviled egg potatoe salad for a side.
