I think Minnesota will be better than Green Bay, so the Cards are close.

If the Packers lose Rodgers, we should win all three of those games though anyways.

Rough how easy the Niners will have it though. That sucks.

One factor that Rams fans may overlook is the possibility of playoff lag. The teams that go deepest into the playoffs have just played the longer season. It can have a negative effect the following year. Some think it showed up with Tampa Bay later in this season.

Hopefully Reggie has a cure for it and it isn’t much of a factor for the Rams.

Last year the nfc west played the nfc north based on rotation which sent us there (we hosted them at the coliseum last time)

Next year we were scheduled to play the nfc north team who finished in the same spot of standings as us (division winner).

The schedule is set (I think) about 4 years in advance in terms of knowing which divisions you play.

This year it just happens that #1 in the NFC West and #1 in the NFC North play each other.

It can't be fixed, it is what it is, which is why we have played Tampa so many times over the last 20 years, when we are due to play just one team in the NFC South we frequently finished in the same position as the Bucs.

I loved this living in Orlando and got to see them play there 4 times in relatively few years.

It would be great for the NFL but wouldn't that mean the Cards have to play the Seahawks week 1 as well.

I don't remember ever having a divisional game in week one, or even really close to the start of the season for that matter.

Then again my memory sucks donkey balls.

Its a good trip, I went to the reg season game in 18. That was a heck of a game. Dont think ill go to NO next year, I need Betty Ford after that trip....

TB I'm looking at for sure. Would love to go to GB if its early in season. PITA to get to....

Trips to KC, GB and the Chargers don't look easy, even if games at the Saints and in Tampa look more appealing than they would have in the past.

I just hope (without much expectation) that the Raiders don't take over SoFi.

And wait for Skip to wet his pants with indignant rage when we deliver a beating to the Cowboys to seal HFA with a couple of games to play.
