If we had the cap room I’d almost guaranteed Kupp and Ramsey would be signed this offseason. But unfortunately it’s going to have to wait probably. Or at least for both of them.

JJ I’m curious to see what happens. Traditionally this front office has not been keen on giving big free agent contracts to safeties or even CBs aside from Ramsey probably.

Getting a Rams extension is a bit like getting on the cover of Madden...

We’ll be drafting TE’s and WR’s early to replace those who shall walk - Reynolds, Everett, etc....

I still think we should try him at fb.even though Everett has not been great at inline blocking maybe if he gets a running start he will be much better. he has the size to be a good blocker, short yardage runner and pass receiving fb much like the (sosan) use their fb.

To me, I think the Rams make WR a priority in this draft. Let him sit and learn and get a modest number of game reps (unless he is lights out in TC, preseason and can’t be ignored).

Josh Reynolds is a solid WR in a contract year. Use that up.

Gerald Everett is in his prove it year as well, I believe, and I think that he knows that he has what it takes and needs to show out.
I see a lot of 2 TE packages for a number of reasons. 1. Not sure how well D. Henderson can/will block. 2. It’s pretty hard to defend when there are two athletic TE’s out there. 3. Higbeast and Everrett probably pose some serious matchup problems.

Lastly, I will not be surprised one bit if Henderson and Brown have one hulleva combined year. Lighting and Thunder style.

It's hard to say where the team values Everett. Let's not forget Higbee has been here since the last year of Fisher, and was on the trade block with the Rams before last seasons break out. Even after being on the trade block, they gave him top TE money, which noone here thought he deserved. It took him 3 years to do what he did last season. Everett showed amazing promise last season until Higbee got hot and he got injured. I think we'll see alot more double TE sets next season, both players are a match up nightmare and both have great YAC ability.

A recent history of getting burned by injuries coupled with the virus situation leads me into the wait direction.

One thing about Everett in ‘20, possibly.

The departure of Cooks may afford Everett more pass catching opportunities. I mean, it’s possible that he could become a nightmare in his own right for opposing D’s. Think about it.
.

Let's hope so, but he also needs to be able to block to stay on the field, especially in 12 formations.

Brown can't stay healthy even though he has never been the bell cow.

In fact he was never healthy in college if I recall correctly.

Ramsey aside, we need to get a deal done with Kupp.
He seems ike a good, hard-working family man, so i am confident that we can get a worthy package for him.

Worried about Everett and Reynolds.
I do believe that Reynolds will have an excellent year and will surprise many.

I don't know about anyone else, but i get attached to players that we draft.
It adds to their appeal and shows loyalty on both sides to remain on the team.
That's why I'm so glad that we got Brockers back.

That’s where I am sliding my chips. I love this player as a receiver. :horns:

He's a beast. And if he does really break out in 2020, and with Higbee playing a huge role, they could trade Reynolds mid season if they drafted a replacement in April. Or let him walk in 2021. I do like Reynolds though. He's filled in admirably, whenever they needed him. And other teams would see that too.
