Maybe the Saints should stop crying and focus on that 2 min defense and OT offense in training camp...just a thought.

It's funny, sad, and almost embarrassing. Imagine having to go to trail over a sports game.

Maybe every QB that played the Saints when Greg Williams was DC should sue the Saints. Depose Peyton, Loomis and Henson.

What a colossal waste of time and money. Why focus on one play. There really were many more missed calls on the Saints overall during the game as Bubba says. The biggest was on Goff that would have made it 1st and 10 at the 1. The next play was a run that gained 2 yds. It was a 4 point differential swing.

The Saints still could have won in regulation but failed to keep the Rams out of FG range. They ignore the fact that they held leads twice, once of 13 points and then 10 points and their D choked and choked. They get the ball first in OT and promptly fail again turning it over. But even then the Rams had to get into FG range and the supposedly vaunted Saint's defense EARNED THE REP OF THE BIGGEST CHOKERS. Now the Saints fans win the award for the BIGGEST CRY BABIES!!!

Put the game into true context and it's very clear the best team won.

All too much.
The NFL should take action, but the thing is where do you draw the line?
The Hekker run? Players being held often?
There are a lot of missed calls each and every game.
Deal with it and let the NFL deal with inconsistent officials.

Another thing is, even without the "pass interference", it is fair to say that Lewis still had to catch the ball.
Yes, he should, but even the best receivers drop passes.
You cant just award them the game based off of that and dismiss everything else.

Any future success of this will open up big problems for the NFL.

The referees decision should be final, regardless.

With the NFL having the Sports Entertainment designation, there is nothing a judge can force them to do. If Goodell wants to appease the Saints fans maybe he pays the fine just to make it look like they care.

Hopefully they emphasize missed calls for both sides and tell Saints fans to Suck it.

The saints were up on us 13-0 at home. They had all the momentum and they had fans who were probably violating rules by blowing whistles. The saints got away with all kinds of penalties including a couple of stomps on Rams players, including Goff that should have been 15 yard game changing penalties, not including the obvious face mask that the refs didn't call in a critical part of the game.

Even with the bad call, the saints could have stopped the Rans but didn't. They had the ball first in OT and turned it over. Zuerlein made a 56 yard FG to win the game. Stop the whining already.

Not to mention the saints won their only super bowl on a bad non call that prevented the Vikings from making the Super Bowl that the saints ended up winning.

Y'all are funny.

If it were the Rams, there would STILL be threads about it being made today, but since it benefitted the rams, it's all "oh, they're such crybabies."

Hyprocrites.

With that said, DEZ CAUGHT IT.
Lol

It's one thing to whine on your team board about gettin jobbed by the refs @Rynie but another entirely to sue the league over a missed call which is part of the game.

Anyone who has watched this game long enough knows you take your lumps and move on, which is why these boards are so useful lol. If I were a Saints fan I'd be embarrassed by that lawsuit, comes off as a bunch of new fans who think they're entitled to perfect refs.

Lol

I saw a few threads after the Super Bowl about how we got robbed on the PI that was not called when Cooks left arm was held.

However, we recognized that the official missed the call and moved on.

We complained more about how bad the refs are getting and that full time refs need to be implemented.

We might have cried for a week or two about that non-call but I haven't heard anything more about it until you forced me to bring it up with your inane comment.

We're kind of used to that shit @Rynie . I'd also like to point out that our Coach would've started the post game speech by congratulating the Saints in a hard fought victory. McVay would have further stated we got many calls in our favor that game and one that didn't go in our favor. We had opportunities to close the game out but didn't do so.

You really have no clue about how this team's attitude works. Why don't you go back to listening to Skip Bayless and watch Good Will Hunting and feel better about yourself, huh?

Calling us hypocrites because of a hypothetical situation you just made up in your own head is pretty stupid reasoning...

You don't hear us still bitching about the blown call against the Saints in the regular season when Hekker clearly had the 4th down conversion and they called it short anyway. That call costs us the game and home-field advantage against the Saints in the playoffs, and we still went to New Orleans and won.

BTW, feel free to watch that NFCCG again and take notes of ALL the no calls for both sides. Here's just a few I saw while watching the game: Facemask on Donald, Facemask on Goff that cost us a touchdown, Saints player stomped on Brandin Cook's head, delay of game penalty against Brees, Offsides penalty on a Saints WR, and the usual holding on Donald. All those should've been called and they weren't. If you really want to put this game under scrutiny then let's review all the no calls, shall we?

How do you know a cowgirl fan is whining? Her lips are moving.

Talk about hypocritical... The Ain'ts fans are setting a new bench mark with this lawsuit but cowgirl fans are tough act to follow when it comes to whining.

Lets see though:
2010 - cowboys and redskins ONLY teams fined/lost cap space for front-loading contracts during the lockout when there was NO SALARY CAP at the time, and EVERY TEAM in the league did this. I talked to a Cowboys FO guy and he said this was just Goodell being a dick to Jerry, and had he known that was actually going to happen he would have told Jerry to just dump ALL THE MONEY NOW, take the fine, and move on.

2014- Dez catch (officials later admitted it was a catch)

2017- Zeke suspended for DV, despite no arrest and the girl later admitted it didnt happen

2017- 7 straight games without a single defensive holding call on our opponents.

We have plenty to whine about, but the funniest part of my post is the fact some of you missed my joke and got butthurt at the same time.

Don't sweat it, good jokes often are disliked when they hit close to the truth.

Now Rynie.... You know we love yuh but don't go the butthurt route here. You didn't really expect humor to be seen by all in a post - did you?

BTW... Your response sure looked like whining. Just sayin
