Well , 15 seconds of it anyways , looks like the full teaser trailer comes out Sunday
I've been kinda wanting to say this is my most anticipated fill of 2017 , but Spider-man Homecoming is probably by far my most anticipated film of 2017
And there is a lot of cool films coming in 2017 , Guardians of the Galaxy , the new King Kong move , new War for the Planet of the Apes , both Wonder Woman and Justice League , can't forget the new Despicable Me 3 movie ,, Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk , the new Alien movie by Ridley Scott , Harrison Ford in the new Blade Runner sequel , Star Wars Epidsoe VIII , along with others
So I'm not sure if The Mummy is my most anticipated film of 2017 , but defiantly the one I'm the most nervous about , again outside of Spider-man
But Universal is going to launch a shared universe with it's classic movie monsters , the way Marvel has done with it's characters , and with The Mummy being the first movie in line that launches the shared universe , it basically needs not to suck
So I'm really really looking forward to seeing all the classics like Wolfman , and Frankenstein , Dracula , all together in one ongoing universe
So here it begins , with Tom Cruise as some guy named Tyler Colt , and Russell Crow as Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
And here's to hoping it at least doesn't suck
