Here's the latest article by Shane Gray on the stadium issue. Thanks to @rams2050 for sending it to me. I haven't had time to read it yet but you can bet I will as soon as I get the chance. Shane is a valued member here and one of the few members of the media that I believe actually works hard to research his articles. As always, read it and take anything you want from it. We will not be making comments on it. That being said, thank you @STL-Rams for keeping us up to date on the goings on in regards to the Rams and this important issue.

This article may be a repeat but it may be that just parts of it are in another article. Thank you to @Prime Time for sending it to me. I thought one of the imbedded articles was also of some interest so I provided a separate link to it. It is hard to verify any of the information Florio puts in the imbedded article but it might be worth a read for some.

This article was sent to me by @DenverRam As the owner meeting grows closer, we are apparently seeing a few more articles. Not sire if any of them really have any new insight but I guess we'll see. I think we'd all kind of like an answer out of those meetings. Just not sure we are going to get anything definitive until after the season. Anyway, thanks DenverRam for sending it to me and keep 'em coming.

Another article sent to me by @DenverRam This one deals with the naming rights. I realize some others posted threads on this topic but unfortunately, we had to delete them as we are only allowing one thread on Stadium/Relocation issues. Thanks DR for sending this to me and as always, I will continue to post virtually everything that is sent my way regarding this issue.

This one also deals with naming rights. This was sent to me by @bwdenverram and I'm not sure that it adds much to the other one but it was sent to me at about the same time so I'm just going to post them both. Thanks for sending it to me.

An article regarding the owners meetings sent to me by @DenverRam I really appreciate the help from DR in finding these pieces and sending them to me.

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/p...rs-meetings-should-offer-clues-on-rams-future

I will make one comment being that we have a lot of buzz going on around the owners meeting. I just think this one section of the above article tells most of the story.

Identifying progress in this whole process has thus far been a difficult task because "progress" is almost always based on conjecture and speculation rather than something substantive like a vote. Without a vote or at least some sort of real discussion on which Los Angeles project is preferred or which way the owners are leaning, the end game here is still more of a guessing game.

I have been watching how the stadium/relocation subject has been handled on other forums and in the comments section of most of the articles. Even though many here would like to see this topic opened back up for conversation, I personally fail to see the point. There has been literally nothing new decided since the thread was locked and being that I am the one responsible for keeping the peace here in this particular thread, I can't see any benefit to opening it back up at this time. If something is actually decided that would give us an indication of the actual future, I will open it back up.

Until that happens, any new threads on the issue will be deleted - not just locked or merged. Please - if you have new information, just send it to me and you can rest assured, it will be posted if it contains anything new or is relevant.

Cheers,

Stu

I would be remiss if I didn't post a couple more articles that I noticed while on the St Louis Business Journal website. In one, the Comptroller for the city doesn't appear to be willing to sign off on the plan presented to her and in the other, it talks of the NFL essentially telling St Louis they need to get their financing finalized. I'm not sure how difficult it will be for Peacock to get everything wrapped up so I don't know if this is just part of the process or a potential roadblock.

I don't know if the Business Journal has a bias one way or the other but I am finding all their articles interesting and in some cases, seemingly contradictory.

It appears that the city of San Diego sent their term sheet to the NFL the week before the owners meetings. Not sure how we missed that but while I was searching to see if I could figure out what a term sheet might look like and what information it might contain, I found these articles. One of them is the actual term sheet itself. Hopefully soon we will get the details of the term sheet sent in by the St Louis task force as well.

San Diego has submitted their term sheet to the NFL AND opened it to the public. Now apparently after submitting theirs, the St Louis task force is refusing to let the public see the details. They are citing Missouri law but I thought the task force was not part of the government by their own assertions. So confused. I think we would all like to see the information. This is not a bid situation. Show us the money.
