We definitely need an upgrade but Spoon does seem like he makes more plays and has better coverage then Durant, at Least to me.

Curl, Lake and Kinchens all are up and down players that are average.

However Kinchens is young and has great instincts to pair with nice hands , so he might improve to a higher level player.

I think if we had that #1 CB the safety’s would look much better.

Yeah we have a bunch of CB3s on this roster. Guys you don't want on top draws. So what we need is that top dog who can erase one option.

Speights has been a bit disappointing in space, but one thing about the dude is when he gets to the ball carrier they are usually stopped cold. He isn't that big, but he has that core strength all the best backers have, like you see in wrestlers.

They need to keep working on him in space. I think he would be better served committing and maybe making the tackle than pausing and letting the runner get the angle on him.

If this guy lasts until rd 3, I would be all over him and pair him with Speights. He also has that stop cold ability, but appears more athletic.

Right now he is considered a day 2 guy.

Yeah - saw him get burned over & over again.Then if you look at the highlights & big time plays.There he is standing out ! I guess you take the good with the bad.The thing is is this defense doesn’t QUIT!!! They keep firing play in and play out.
Number 4 sure is a STUD as the rams coaches talk about players. He seems to almost ALWAYS come up BIG !!! Cobie Durant hasn’t really been missed as far as I can tell ! Still it just shows the depth The Rams have & should have had from the beginning!!! You know I’m not going to STOP SAYING IT,until it comes untrue or the 2024 season comes to an end.

I look for Verse to have his biggest game of the season this Saturday and all but wrap up DROY and the division.

I hope the entire defense is fired up and ready to send a message to the Cardinals. That week two loss was embarrassing.

I would like the DLine to wear visors that have ADs face printed on the front. Murray would think he’s going crazy.

That game should be considered a valuable lesson for the young week 2 LA Rams defense.
Contain Murray and let the Middle of the D line get to him. Verse had a lot of whiffs in that game. Just grab the guy and get him down as getting a big hit on him has never been a easy thing.

at least from the beginning of the season.

T” White was the problem & The Rams player evaluation or respect for a player who deserved at contract sooner & better .

The Rams Defense has given up less than 10 points in the last 3 games which is amazing. Both the jets and cards had the ball forever and could only score 9 points. McVay is really starting to trust his Defense and it's reflected in the way he's calling games and managing them. Let's hope the Offense can get back on track.
