If that was the trade package to move up to #7 I’d do it without hesitation. I think WASH would consider it.

If our future #1 pick was involved I’d still consider it. Some members on the board would be on suicide watch if that happened, lol.

I really think that Love is going to TEN at #4, and I don’t see the Rams willing to go up that high for anyone except a QB.
No offense, but trading a future #1 pick to move up from #13 overall or anywhere for a RB would probably be one of the dumbest moves any GM could make. It would probably be remembered like the time when Ditka traded all those picks to select Ricky Williams.

What round do you think Washington will get drafted?

No idea. Someone else pointed him out and I looked up his highlights. Unlike so many, I found his highlights illuminating.

Mike Washington Jr has deceptively fast acceleration to the hole. The style reminds me of Bo Jackson. I’m not saying he’s Bo, just saying his running style reminds me of him.

His hands are natural pass catching hands. That’s so rare. He’s a hands catcher with soft hands.

He can be a physically dominating runner and/or run past defenders which makes angles on him difficult. Take a shallow angle to load up for a big hit and he’s past you. Take a steeper angle to tackle him and he’s stiff arming you or juking you.

I did a mock draft and took him in the 2nd round which feels about right.

Or without Hurts, or Jalen Carter, or Jake Elliott or Nolan Smith or Cooper Dejean or withour countless Rams mistakes or etc etc
It's a team game and that was a team win
The point wasnt ABOUT the Rams Divisional Round Game at Philadelphia solely. The point WAS, and IS, that the acquisition of Saquon Barkley before the 2024 season was the biggest reason and difference in the outcomes of Philadelphia's 2023 playoffs which ended in a wild card loss and Philadelphia's 2024 playoffs which ended in a Super Bowl win.

2000 Scrimmage yards regular season then 3 absolute STUD Playoff performances. You can look up the stats or I will post in edit. The original point being what a Jeremiah Love can mean to the Rams 2026 season and Beyond.

Edit: led League in carries and yards.

Playoff numbers just stupid good.

Yes acquiring a top running back the single biggest reason for Philadelphia Eagles winning the 2024 Super Bowl.

Absurd
Barkley is a tremendous player some years, and other years he's mediocre
He was a complete non factor in the SB win, while the defense dominated KC. In the SB loss, Hurts dominated the game and the refs did their part to help out. Its just pure ignorance to assume the Eagles couldnt have won without him
I'd love to see Love as a Ram, but Barkley is the last guy I'd use as a reference, he's the polar opposite and for years was the example of why you dont draft a RB high

Keep up with the one size fits-all references. For a DOGSHIT team like the New York Giants it doesn't make sense to draft a running back early. For a very good to great team, the 2026 Rams for example, it makes all the sense in the world to draft a top running back early. Again, Saquon Barkley goes to the 2018 Philadelphia Eagles instead of the New York Giants the Eagles have another super bowl or two in their glass case. Also you are seeing Barkley in his 7th and 8th years. We would be getting Love in his young pup BEST years.

No offense taken. I said I would “consider” it. That means maybe yes, or maybe no.

Im not going to play this childish game of moving the goal posts because of a silly point made.
Saquon Barkley was a complete non factor against the Chiefs but you say they dont win without him. Just a silly comment.
Barkley blew out his knee on a completely typical running play, had nothing to do with the Giants being a train wreck. Good grief, folks could do themselves wonders by actually watching games instead just following the tag lines of what media hacks spit out

Silly me, I didn't know winning the Super Bowl meant only winning the Super Bowl game ITSELF. Yeah you're right, those 20 games before it are basically meaningless, LOL

So they didnt need Jalen Carter, Cooper Dejean or Zach Baun? Good to know

They needed em. No doubt. Still, Saquon the biggest difference and reason they won the Super Bowl.

But this isn't really an Apples to Apples comparison, Kyren Williams is is so damn good that the gap between him and Love is much smaller than the gap between Barkley and 2023 Eagles running backs were. Although we can acquire Love while still keeping Kyren, and THAT would be deadly.

Is there still a universe where RBs scare teams off inside the top-half of the first round?

Nah, Gibbs was a great pick who's panned out, Jeanty looks good so far. McCaffrey and Barkley were great picks that went to feckless teams.

It just dawned on me that we traded Dickerson to the Colts, and the Colts traded Faulk to us.

I mean, factually I knew that, but never saw the irony of it.

Life is strange…and moving’ in stereo.

Kinda hilarious that the real gems of the article were the secondary talk and LB options but this thread has just devolved into Love discussions.
