PM'd Bo (@Ramhusker) - our ROD man on the ground - and checked out La Quinta and Comfort Inn next to the stadium on the east side of the river. 3/4 mile walk to downtown - looks good to me.
Hotels downtown are astrofuckingnomical price wise.

In my experience LaQuintas are decent but Comfort Inns are trash. At least in Oregon and Nevada they seem to cater to down on their luck weeklies.

I wonder if the LaQuinta has a 24 hour pool. Can be fun with the wife.

Agreed - in checking the sites, comfort was pretty ghetto.
La Quinta looked nice - and they’re literally next door to each other.

La Quinta has a bar too. Both charge for parking but all of Nashville does now I believe.

Be advised though for those light sleepers, these hotels are right beside Interstate 24 so traffic noise could be an issue. I plan on being too drunk to notice.

This is a great place to stay if you are flying in. You can walk to the game and the pedestrian bridge to party central walk is 20 minutes, 30 minutes drunk.

Lots of nightlife and live music in Nashville.

My little brother had his bachelor party weekend there. He, his friends and @Ramrasta flew up there and had a hell of a drunken time. If I remember hearing this right, they lost my brother at some point walking from bar to bar. Apparently he passed out into some bushes along the sidewalk and his crew didn't see... they didn't notice him missing until they were drinking in another bar.

The ROD SQUAD will need to top that. Which will probably happen within the first 5 minutes from my experiences. Sounds like my kind of debauchery. I need to make sure and go too!
