Raiders lol those fans gonna eat his @$$ up quick. Best of luck to him though, the effort was there.

Now hire one of our cheerleaders who can write and have her do vids in her uniform. Everyone wins. :D

They already have Myles’ replacement

Wearing a Rams' cheerleader uniform would make her look too biased. So her vids should be done without any uniform. If that's not too subtle.

That's fine and we still win. I mean upgrading over lookin at Myles isn't too difficult... :ROFLMAO:

I always liked Myles, and didn't see this coming. He put me on Mailbag a couple times. I haven't missed a BTH in a long time--I noticed comments accompanying the article saying DMarco didn't mesh, etc., but I thought they had a great, fun chemistry.

Seems like this 3K guy is just upset they don't have inside access to the Rams like they'd like (esp with the crack flat out stating McVay lied about Gurley's condition, when it's easily not that simple).

I'd say things are going great without some credentialed critic. If it ain't broke....

I've never understood a sports team employing its own journalists. How can there be true scrutiny and objectivity when you're on the payroll?

Depends on what they do. I think the LA Kings do it best with their "insider"... Basically he travels with the team to get player quotes, and at the end of the season he does little player evaluations and other fun stuff. He'll talk about recent signings and stuff, and since he doesn't post rumors you know it's more official.

Basically it's more quotes and behind the scenes stuff. It's done very well in my opinion. They also have a separate website for it.

Seemed like a pretty cool dude, shocked to see him go. Kinda reminded me of Roj from What's Happening.

Looks like the job was just posted yesterday. I already don’t qualify unless you guys vouche for my occasional posts here? Lol

Think they’d fire me for calling Jared Goff a trailer over and over again? :rolllaugh:

Great combo. They give information and opinions. Myles is like an knowledgeable fan (in a complimentary way). He gets into talking and writing about the Rams. He has imperfections but, that's what is great about him. He doesn't take himself too seriously. He has gotten better each year. His writing reports are insightful and informative. His videos with Farr are great to watch. You get some insight into players that we wouldn't know other wise or as quickly has they give us. I feel I'm getting real information and opinions about Rams players. That's what I want. I also get to laugh a little with Myles and Farr.

I for one am glad he is gone, his voice was like listening to nails on a chalkboard. Good riddance!

I understand it a little, but he has been a good foil for D'Marco. Actually, D'Marco is bothering more lately because of two phrases: "You know what I mean" and "Does that make sense?" I cringe after every talking point Farr makes, waiting with dread for either of them. He is a well spoken guy normally and I enjoy his sense of humor, but these worn out phrases drive me crazy.

Lindsey Thiery has more bass in her voice than Myles. Captain Obvious added little to no insight the average fan didn’t already know. d’Marco doesn’t need a foil, I’d prefer another ex-player w a brain like Dan Orlovski.

Orlovski is good, but isn't he already an analyst on the NFLN or ESPN? Don't know if replacing Myles would be a step-up or not for him.

As for Myles the foil, I enjoyed the banter of D'Marco teasing him, but that's just me.

Yeah, he's got a pretty nice gig as an NFL analyst for ESPN. Unless he's worried about getting the ax in the next round of ESPN layoffs, it's probably a step down.

Yeah and the dreaded "I mean" phrase too... Rich Eisen also beats this one to death. :deadhorse:
