Here's some shots of my Boi Harley. He's 15.5 years old now... his hearing is not good... he's got some weird growths in different areas... but he's still going pretty strong. He can't pull me on my longboard skateboard like a sled dog anymore... he's a 35 pound schnauzer btw so he's not little. But he's doing amazing for a dog his age. Most folks are shocked when we tell them he's 15.5

No fish is safe around him. He will eat any fish,,, bones and all. Seriously. Entire fish will be gone. He's always been a sushi guy since he was a pup,,, and we've given him a shit load of fish.

My dog (Molly) is probably one of the most co-dependent dogs on the planet. If I ever have to leave for any amount of time (10 minutes to several hours), she'll just mope around the house and not do anything but pout. My wife sent me this picture yesterday while I was in training for the day, just to pull on my heart strings. She captioned it, "if dogs had tears...."

When I got home she lit up like a Christmas tree.
There's no better feeling than having your dog freak when she sees you again.

The vet says that my Beagle(Flash) has separation anxiety. I keep telling the dog I'm not that great but he doesn't believe me. :sneaky: If I leave the house for a few hours, I put cardboard boxes in the kitchen and he tears them to shreds. Apparently it gives him a way to vent his pissed-off-ness. Yeah, I'm a lousy dog trainer.

All that fish - probably why he's lived a long, healthy life. Great pic.

Sam doesn't like to be woken up. He seems to have adopted our old downstairs couch. 4 year old Merganzer Lab BTW.

My previous Lab Nixon.

Nixon would go out in the surf and just swim around for hours while we walked along. Unlike Sam, when he chased a stick, he'd actually bring it back to you. Nixon died at age 13 from congestive heart failure. Unfortunately we couldn't say no to him when it came to scraps. He would sit next to the table with drool all the way to the floor making this whining/groaning sound. I know... sounds annoying but we got the biggest laugh out of it and I think he knew it.

Sam is paying for our lack of discipline with Nixon. We won't give Sam any table scraps at all. Thus Sam is 82 pounds and Nixon was 128. But a happy 128. Man I miss that dog. I'm tearing up just looking at that pic and thinking about him. He was just plain happy all the time.

I'm sure that the fish has been very good for him. He also has Fried Egg Friday every week along with his sidekick Rasta (our parrot). Harley gets the yolks and Rasta gets the whites. It's weird how they both seem to know when it's Friday.
