Are we re=living the mid-to-late 70s right now? The Rams have been pretty darn good the last few years but there is always someone better that they can't get past.

Are the Eagles the new Cowboys and the Lions the new Vikings? Are we gonna keep watching a really good team come up short against two other teams that are just that-much better when it's all on the line?

Gawd I fucking hope not, it was bad enough the first time.

The Eagles are not al that. We made them look pedestrian for a lot of that game. We are young in a lot of areas. Refs were terrible . Stafford missed some easy throws.
Maybe that was the effect of him missing camp ? He makes those throws we win. Refs call a good game, we win. Our coach does not channel his inner Dick Vermiel, we win.
The Rams can still get home field advantage. Eagles are not world beaters, the NFL is catching up with them.
Play our cards right, Eagles will come to LA in January.

The Rams were up 26-7 in the second half so there are issues but I believe McVay will fix them but it hurts because of potential future playoff implications. If there's any bright side, Barkley wasn't able to do much.

Absolutely not.

Today was proof. The eagles did not belong on the field with us until we went prevent late and took the foot off the gas in that conservative approach.

It’s early and these Limmer type personnel decisions will get quickly addressed. 2nd time in a span of what 4 rams games that Limmer lost it for us.

The fact the eagles could not run at all on us is a great sign.

It will come down to injuries 100%

The Eagles must have their Oline at 100 percent to run their game plan. Their personell is changing up front and starting to wear down. Our defense is younger and faster.

It’s an even race with Rams, Eagles, Detroit, and Green Bay. A few dark horses like Niners Seahawks and Tampa might make a run.

But no dominant team.

Eagles did nothing of the sort. Refs ran on us, not them. The score would have been 40s or higher. Nothing but Illegal ( or is it Illeagle?) plays that they got away with.

the defense and special teams in the 2nd half is the issue. I think they can fix it but not how. Witherspoon was missed. kicking unit needs to block better but we don't seem to have the personal to be consistent. oline issues are still a prob. Stafford's gonna have days like he did Sunday. go, Rams.
