Baltimore has a very good roster. They played the Rams tough despite their DBs all being injured and they used a backup QB.

If Baltimore had been healthier the Rams lose that game imo

For sure, just shows how good the 9ers were to have done what they did in 2021.They actually paved the way for The Rams.
If it wasn’t for that dropped INT,the 9ers win The SuperBowl imo.
I’m cheering for Jared Goff & Detroit in 2022.I wonder how O’Connell does?
GBay ? Lafleur & Rogers are a tough beat.
Chicago looks like a rebuild.

Then again I couldn’t tell you about there coach.

I think it is going to have to be the Jags. They have a competent head coach now. A lot of free agency signings and some really good additions out of there. That's a lot of work before the draft even starts.

I think the Lions will be interesting, and they are probably my second choice.

I wonder if a QB needy team trades for Huntley? Ravens probably hold onto him until Jackson signs, then… maybe?

I’m wondering how the contract extension talks affect Lamar and the Ravens. Could lead to a disgruntled player and team dissension

I think everybody on that list in one way or another has improved except the Giants and the Panthers. Baltimore makes a lot of sense after all they were an 8-9 tied for last place team.

Maybe, or maybe because they were injured the Rams took them lightly and woke up in the nick of time.

The Ravens are build well, their Front Office is one of the best in the NFL and they also seem to do a good job with their coaching staffs. They've won two Super Bowls one with Brian Billick & one with John Harbaugh and are usually consistently in the hunt, however, have done it more through the draft and trading up & down then through trades & free agency.

1- Broncos 2- Ravens if QB is healthy.

The by far candidate to go from bad to worse is Seahawks.
Unless they upgrade at QB, I will put them at the 3-5 wins.
They have a HC and GM that should have been shown the door.
Should have hired miami's HC and kept Wilson.
They are also transitioning from a 4/3 to a 3/4.Go Figure

I'll always go with the teams with the big picture history of winning programs and pedigree. Baltimore. Denver possibly. I do think time is running out with L.Jackson. I can see his usage and style of play becoming more and more degenerative, similar to what happened to Cam in Carolina.
Yep. Jackson is what he is. A runner of rare potency playing QB who still needs a lot of development in the pass game. He has been maximized by Roman's system just like Krappernick was. Which again if I'm a head coach with Greg Roman as my OC I would have a stable of young read/option QBs running that shitty half field read approach and threatening defenses on the ground. Would not pay any of them. QB would be a modern RB equivalent and all that money I would use on elite linemen and weapons.

It's no coincidence that running QBs (by which I mean the QBs whose biggest threat is the run) seem to have a shelf life and potency trend similar to RBs. Where they are much more dangerous early in their careers due to those fresh legs. As time goes on however and defenses adjust to them they don't usually get better unless they can develop an ability to throw from the pocket.

So the way I see it being able to deal from the pocket is the slam dunk ability for a QB. If you can do that you still have to be able to adjust to defenses as they get on your tendencies, but you have a chance to survive at this level long enough to master one of the toughest responsibilities in sports.

Pittsburgh?
I see Pittsburgh and Baltimore as having similarly good defenses. If both are healthy, in the short term I pick Lamar’s crazy athleticism over Mitch’s arm.

But, if Trubiskey plays his best it should be close. The Steelers are supposedly enamored with Willis in the draft, if true then they likely don’t see Trubiskey as the answer.
