well, maybe..lol

I heard tonight that Von Miller may play hardball with the Denver Bronco's, which may force the Bronco's to place the franchise tag on him..If so, Brock Osweiler will hit free agency. We have serious cap room, and could have more if we cut Chris Long and others and may also make it tough to sign some of our favorites on defense...

Also, the Bronco's don't know for sure if they want to break the bank for the former 2nd round pick....If you were Les Snead and you saw Osweiler hit the FA market, would you go after him?

I certainly would kick the tires!

I would for sure. Still a young unseasoned guy, but, I wanted to draft him when he came out.
Certainly worth a shot I think.

I don't see how Denver let's him get away. But I would take him in a heartbeat.
I guess the choice will be Von Miller or Osweiler!..Lets hope that the Bronco's kick but and Von Miller and Peyton Manning are co MVP's in the Super Bowl...:yess:

I don't want him. Denver has tons of talent on offense and he never really stood out to me. I want a difference-maker at QB. I don't see Osweiler as that.

I think Win or Lose Manning won't be back next season. So Denver would be stupid to let him go!!

What Dave said

Manning may be done after this year. Osweiler would step right in.

He is a young, big, athletic QB that had Manning to mentor him and played well behind a horrible offensive line with questionable running backs. I thought he was very impressive but he is too valuable to the Broncos for them to let go with Manning fading away.

They have to judge how good he is. If they think Osweiler is just a guy, then I doubt they sign him for big bucks (if they see a similar, cheaper option in the draft) and they get to keep Von Miller.....Which is worth more to them?

I can't imagine the Bronco's let him go but if they did? He'll certainly garner some FA attention.

They benched him for a broken down Manning.

Denver won't let him go. He is Manning insurance. Besides the cap expands this off-season. They will have money. In fact with the cap growing most teams will be able to sign their better players. So the market probably won't be full of the prime time players like in recent years.

If I was Denver I would be starting that Osweiler in the next game let alone not letting him go. If Manning starts the Broncos will lose the next game.

If Osweiler starts, they probably lose as well. He was costing them the SD game and the #1 seed before Manning stepped in.

I don't think he's a worse option than (certainly) RG3 or (maybe) Chase Daniels. I just imagine his price will be much higher. I wouldn't mind bringing him in, but there's no one I'm promising the job to at this point. This team has already "stuck with" their guys too unilaterally for too long. I would have absolutely no problem trying him out, provided we still drafted a QB round 1.

I think we have more of a chance resigning Dieter Brock than Brock Osweiler (don't know how to spell it and don't care)

This^, why would Denver let him get away? After a dismal performance on Sunday Manning will retire and by some stroke of luck the Broncos advance to the big dance, IMO, win or lose, Manning will retire.
