It's funny....I heard somebody on TV say, "when he throws the ball 30 times or more, the Eagles are 1-5" and that is true. So what we think we learn from that is, he's not a good QB from the pocket. But if we do a deeper dive we see, he was 16-3 in 2022 & 2023 when throwing 30 or more (8-0 & 8-3). That contradicts the last two years (3-2, 1-5). So the conclusion we have to come to is, the surrounding cast matters.
It's the OL - If he has 5 seconds to throw - he is a very good passer and runner.

If he doesn't have at minimum 4 to 5 seconds - he sucks.

Look at every game he has been a poor QB and you will see that.

You're preaching to the choir!!! I have had a discussion with my son-in-law, a die hard Eagle fan. I insist Hurts IS NOT a top 10 QB. He insists he is...."2 SB appearances, outplayed Mahomes in both". I come back with, "everything has to be just right with him.....great OL....Barkley running the ball at 5.5 YPC.....AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and DAllas G......a great defense to get the ball back to him......etc. "

Yep. He's usually just mistake-free. But now he's missing some protection up front.
Well, he has been risk adverse. He throws a lot of passes to the flats and 12 yrd hook ups, or just throws one deep to Brown and Smith where they run under it and make great plays on 50/50 passes.

He can't throw it over the middle and thus refuses to throw it over the middle. He won't throw deep in cuts or out cuts. Doesn't have the arm or consistent accuracy. That is a big reason why he hasn't thrown interceptions. He could get away with avoiding those throws because they had Barkley and an explosive run game. However, that is not happening now. Now he has to generate big plays out of the passing game and he can't do it.

The thing that concerns me is how a team can have six turnovers and barely lose on the road in OT to an 8-4 team????

What happens if the Eagles just play kind of shitty????? Instead of completely shitty like last night. A half ass Eagles team is still scary.

The Eagles have four games to get their shit together, and if they do that's gonna be worrisome.

Well, the Chargers OL is so beat up and bad that they could barely function on offense. That is the only reason why the game was competitive.

Everybody is beat up this time of year.
The Chargers OL is in the same shape our OL was in 22'. Missing both starting OTs. Becton, their big offseason addition at OG has been out. They lost another OT in the beginning of the gane last night. I think they had a back up center playing last night. They have been signing guys off the street. That is not merely beat up, that is decimated.

Dead on. They sacked Herbert 7 times and probably hit him another 20 times. The number I heard this morning was on 68% of his drops he was pressured. Fangio knew the condition of their OL and blitzed him often. Smart coaching. That's not going to happen vs a good/healthy OL and a QB who excels under pressure. Again, smart coaching.

Philly scored a whopping 19 points. They had 308 yards prior to OT. The Rams had 306 yards IN THE FIRST HALF on Sunday!!! The four longest drives they had last night were 57 yards (Int in OT), 56 yards (TD), 56 yards (FG), 52 yards (FG). They lead the league in 3 and outs (?) and they had 2 last night plus two other possessions that ended after 2 plays because of interceptions. The way their offense has been playing, there is absolutely no reason to fear them.

These guys are in a free fall and Dallas is still within striking distance. IMO, the Eagles are going to lose to Buffalo and may lose one of the Washington games which would give them a 10-7 record. If Dallas can win out, they'll be 10-6-1.

Slater and Alt are two of the Chargers' foundation players; and both are on IR.
Their 3rd OT went down last night.

That's not something every team is dealing with.

Same with the Chiefs ... both starting OTs and a Pro Bowl RG ... plus a reserve OT ... all out-of-action.
That's a lot ... lot more than most teams.

This made me laugh when I saw it. Awful Fantasy performance yet somehow I still won the matchup and actually went 4-0 across my leagues for the first time all season.

They won't be facing the ER All-star team in the playoffs. They play that way against SEA, GB or the Rams and they will lose handily.

They have the best roster in the NFL but they don’t play together as a team. That’s a byproduct of a subpar immature HC.

They won't lose to the toilets.

How good would Hurts and the eagles be if the refs actually called false starts on them when they false start?

Of if the refs don't claim the play was dead when Hurt is surging forward when the ball gets ripped out of his arms into a defender's arms? I saw that play and the whistle was blown AFTER the defender had the ball.

I think the Eagles are going to shit the bed. That team is going to implode. They are allover the place, and Hurts is looking like a joke. Fuk em’

The eagles would probably 6-7 right now if the refs called false starts that were warranted. The iggles would have lost to the Rams for sure, and probably the chiefs. I didn't see some of the other games with questionable calls.

I believe the hype is created by the officiating in some way. Some teams may not be as good as we thought. Bottomline a lot of teams are showing their true colors this season. The officiating rulebook needs to be revised.
