Ex Ram Gilbert is at QB
That took me a second. My brain was trying to wrap my head around this guy at QB:

Rapp and our D gonna have their hands full with that TE
This will be the first time vs Kittle that I like the matchup.

But the 9ers might be a better team than us right now. Going to be a very illuminating matchup.

Ehh the Browns like to shit the bed every other game.

The 49ners look good tonight, but Browns... being the Browns.

All that old 49er hate just comes flooding back.
What’s up with Baker though? I know his receivers let him down but that was awful.

We're definitely gonna need that "nasty" streak R Woods was talking about. The D is facing a very physical front.

As far as I'm concerned Jimmy G is more hype than substance. One WR and a TE and our secondary will have it's hands full? Pressure Jimmy and his mechanics fall apart. They run the ball really well because their o-line executes well. That should be the focus of the defense. Force Jimmy and their passing game to beat you and I don't think they can beat the Rams.

Jimmy G was just lucky that the whiners were able to run the ball really well because he wasn't all that impressive throwing the ball despite over 200 yards on the ground and the browns blew some possible INTs.

Of course the Rams need to stuff the run or the whiners will put us out of the NFC west run. I trust in McVay and Wade to right the ship.

I never thought I would see the day again that the 49ers would be good

They’ve taken care of business vs lesser opponents and Shanahan is finally starting to look like the genius he was thought to be. They’re finally healthy, too. As of right now they’re the team to beat and that defense is no joke. We might be looking at McVays first 3 game losing streak.

We will with that attitude.

Just yanking your chain...

My view of the world... We are the division champs. Until that changes, they fear us. Not the other way around. But I’m a cocky prick like that. :giggle:

I love the confidence but man they’re looking good. I think McVay will have an excellent game plan but it’s going to be another nail biter. I bet we see another 41-39 type of game again.

I’m sure the JG hype train is back in full effect but he still looks a little skittish in the pocket, throwing off his back foot when there’s pressure. I don’t think he has the arm to be having sloppy mechanics, but he’s still doing the chuck n duck and I think it affects his accuracy.
If we see the kind of tackling we saw in Seattle my tv might not survive the game their backs are a handful. The passing game is basically Kittle and the running backs with Kittle as the leading receiver, hopefully Rapp is ready.
Was the browns offense that terrible? Or was the 9er defense lights out? Chubb did ok, so did Landry, hopefully that bodes well for the Rams.
Mayfield was awful, he had more turnovers than completions for a good part of the first quarter and was mostly ineffective.
What are browns fans thinking now after another lackluster performance by their savior Mayfield? Maybe this is the week he decides to just keep his head down and his mouth closed.

The Rams proved Baker hasn't improved. He's always been and still is simply a one read QB. Take away his first read and he's toast. Even then he's still focused on that first read. Until he learns to read defenses he will never be a good NFL starting QB. Stop their run, and take away Baker's first read, all the way through the play and it must be like 90% of the time he will have to run to make the play. Baker is proving all the offensive talent in the world means nothing if you have no QB.

The Niner strength are both lines, offense and defense. If both Rams units match that strength then the Rams can win this going away. They need to start Gaines because SJD is soft in the middle on runs and gets little penetration if any on passing downs. They have talent in their D front so the Rams need to take a page out of the Niner play book and play 12 personnel. Everett is a weapon that can be exploited in a game like this.

Mayfield has played a seasons worth of games. He has time to improve and probably will.

The 49ers defense looks formidable.

If he wants to improve he better start hitting the gym. He looks pudgy and out of shape to me.
