This game show the importance of a game breaker at wide receiver. The 49ers had to play zone because of Stephon Diggs and when they went back to man, Jason Varrett could not hang with Diggs. The Rams could not get the same separation against the 49ers like the Bills.

I don't think they even watch the games of the teams they claim to be knowledgeable of. Right now if the Rams simply play more disciplined they can sweep the schedule. That makes them probably the #3 seed in the NFC. This means the Rams could be playing the SeaHawks in the first round of the playoffs. The wildcard are the Bucs, I think they could win out and be the #5 seed. That means the Hawks could be the #6 seed making them the matchup for the Rams in the first round.

The Packers likely will win out as well keeping them in that #2 seed spot.

It's going to be a wild finish that's for sure. No matter what the Rams will have to earn their way into the Super Bowl and it won't be easy though very doable if they simply clean up their game.

i wanted the whinners to make the playoffs so we could put them out of the playoffs and get that monkey off our back at the same time. but my son said that would be great but there was just no way he could root for those asshole to win a single game. now i see what he means could not root for them when it got right down to it

I noticed that the 9ers were terrified of Diggs all night, they were giving a huge cushion. It was an easy 5 yds whenever the bills wanted. I was thinking they don’t have that kind of respect for our wideouts. Maybe it’s the familiarity with what Mcvay wants to do.

It the same thing with Tyreke Hill and the Chiefs. When you have receivers of that caliber, defenders are so afraid of getting beat, they are willing to give up the short yardage. We have great receivers but none of them are fast enough or athletic enough to make the DB worry about containment. None of our receivers can catch the 50/50 ball or athletic enough to outjump defenders for the ball.

Its no coincidence that Josh Allen suddenly look like an MVP with Stephon Diggs and Kyler Murray was looking like an MVP with DeAndre Hopkins. And Patrick Mahomes has both Hill and Kelce to boot. Meanwhile Jared Goff has never and I repeat never had an elite receiver either at WR or TE position and he took us to the Superbowl. Imagine if Goff had Hill and Kelce, how much better would he look? All I know is this, without Hill, Mahomes doesn't win last year Superbowl because having Hill is a cheat code.

Don't get me wrong, Patrick Mahomes is great, but his greatest is in large due to how many elite weapons he has and that a credit to the Chiefs organization for drafting the right talent around him.

Well without a first rounder can they get somebody like that, they’ve got too much money in the wr position to bring in a FA. McVay needs his wrs to be physical and block, that’s something Cooks didn’t offer and his results were mixed, would they even bring in a burner type? Woods and Kupp are basically the same guy, that’s their strength and weakness. You don’t know who to focus on but they aren’t going to embarrass your db’s either.

The Rams I believe have a couple burners on the Practice squad.

Reynolds is GONE!! The played so bad against the Niners & then again this last week.

Will see how he basically takes the benching. Reynolds had been getting most of the snaps, but then this last game Jefferson got the call & played well.

I think you’ll see Cam Akers & Van Jefferson really grow up fast this 2nd half of the season.

I really don’t think NFL(Ram) Fans understand what it takes to be a NFL player. Add rookie season without a pandemic.

I actually have a take about The Rams,Jared Goff,Mcvay, & The Rams offense. My believe was that would have been an advantage not having an off season.
