I expect 4000 yards 25 tds 5 int but I really would not be surprised to see him go over 4500. Sam has never had this much talent to help him out, gonna be fun as hell to watch it all unfold... :woooot:

Re: Minimum expectations for Sam this season

I expect hin to turn the PD into a ghost town.

Re: Minimum expectations for Sam this season

My expectations for Sam are to have his best year as a pro, in all categories. Same system, new weapons.. I feel like yards, completions, TD's should be up and sacks, INT's should be down.

25+ TD's and I'll be happy. 30+ i'll be ecstatic.

4000yds around 30tds and 12ints
But most importantly we have a winning record..... That's my prediction pending injuries

I'm not sure what to expect. I'm a big believer in Sam Bradford but this year he'll be without SJax and Amendola and will be relying on rookies and second year guys like Givens and Quick.

I guess how well he does will depend on how quickly the rooks can assimilate into the offense and on Givens and especially Quick stepping up their games.

If all that happens then yeah, I could see him putting up the big numbers you guys propose.

And I think it will happen but things might be a little shaky at first.

Re: Minimum expectations for Sam this season

It was mentioned around the time of the draft that SB and the WR's had been working out together. I wonder if the new guys have been able to get with them yet ... or if it will happen shortly? This group can go from a weakness to a strength. The key is for everyone to be comfortable with each other. Building a chemistry. Timing. Knowing strengths and limitations of each other. I know that it will come in time with the regular practices, but I hope they do some stuff on their own.

Is there a rule that would prevent the vets and the rookies doing more on their own.... outside of the team activities?

I think that is simultaneously a concern and a challenge, Sam now knows he IS THE man , if he doesn't wilt he can step up and be the leader ALL these guys look to plus it will challenge Pead,Givens ,Quick et.al. to be examples to this years bunch.

I think we have a magical scenario set up here Sam a still very young guy with a young talented team we are talking dynasty potential ,but as you say if these young guys let him down ,it could eventuate in the end of Sam as well.

So that leaves me thinking about how good the defense and kicking game aught to be and that the time needed to "assimilate" needs to be provided by the 4 young backs we have, between the D holding scores down, the backs controlling the clock and slowly building the passing game .
I think if we just come out throwing like Buffalo in the Jim Kelly era and don't ease into that type of offense, we could get smoked in some games.

Re: Minimum expectations for Sam this season

The Oline has to jell and play as an cohesive unit, the young WRs are going to have to make their LOS reads and adapt quickly, the sooner this happens the sooner everyone gets the Sam they'd hoped for from day one.

He's already shown (imo) what he can do if allowed to step into a throw, I wouldn't be expecting the 2nd coming of the GSOT week one, that being said, I'm really excited about the future here.
